    Amazon.com

About the size of a coffee maker, this electric baby bottle cooler/warmer will be a big convenience for bleary-eyed parents who are tired of stumbling down to the kitchen in the middle of the night. At the rear of the unit, an insulated compartment keeps two 8-ounce bottles cool for up to eight hours. (There's no refrigerant, just a specially shaped container that can be filled with water, frozen, and then slipped into place.) At the front, an electrically heated water container produces steam, which heats one bottle to the correct temperature in about five minutes. There's also a night-light built into the front of the unit. Note that the unit cannot be used with glass bottles. --Richard Farr

This bottle warmer is amazing! I had been a little on the fence about this item, but decided to purchase it because I had been heating the bottles just using running hot water which could take forever and was also not very efficient. And when it's 3 in the morning and you're exhausted and there is a screaming newborn needing to be fed, time is of the essence. That and ease of use.First, it doesn’t take up too much counter space and fits nicely underneath my kitchen cabinets. It has a sturdy base so even half asleep I still don’t knock it over in my sleep deprived clumsy-ness. The little cup it comes with comes in handy for pulling put the bottles without burning your hand (the steam gets hot!). I use Phillips Avent Natural bottles and they fit perfectly in the warmer with a little room to spare, so it seems that wide mouth bottles fit well. It does come with a little ring adapter that you can place atop the warmer to keep smaller bottles from rattling around. There is a little instruction booklet that tells you exactly how much water to use, as well as two little vials to put the water in. The vials attach to the warmer base, which means no having to measure in the middle of the night if you prep it before bed!The little cooler detaches and has a nice little handle which makes it easier to carry around. It comes with a little container that you fill with water and then freeze, this is how it keeps the bottles warm. It is NOT an electric cooler. I haven’t used it yet, but I can easily see myself using it when I go out on long shopping trips to keep the bottles cool.I also really like the fact that this warmer can also be used for baby food jars and sanitizing pacifiers. I seriously would recommend this warmer to anyone!

I read the one star reviews and I'm going to give my take on them.

    - it takes too long.
4 mins for 4oz. The vials of water needed are prepped in adv. If you do this it saves time. 4mins vs warming water on the stove and waiting for it. Takes long?! Also know your baby's hunger cues. Intercept with a bottle before it GETS to screaming and you won't have that problem.
    - You need to unplug it to stop it.
It stops on its own. It will stop when the water you added is gone. If you add the CORRECT Amt of water this is no issue. It comes with directions. Use it. I have never had formula too hot. Not once. As your baby grows you will need more water for larger bottles. This is obvious.
    - the cooler isn't electric.
Did you expect it to be for 20 dollars?! The ice pack it comes wihj works perfectly.
    - doesn't work with Dr Browns.
I won't fully dispute this one, but I personally have had no issues with Dr Browns. It comes with a ring you need to add on for slim bottles vs wide bottles. I use the ring and take the cap off the bottle and don't have a problem. Maybe because I remove the nipple?
    -too complicated.
It's really not. Add correct Amt of water in directions. Press button down. Wait till light shuts off. Done. Not complicated.

I've had this warmer for 3 weeks and it's been lifesaving. I take it up to bed with me and my baby at night for my dresser and I'm no longer 4am step running. Only upkeep is cleaning mineral deposits from the unit and basket which involves rinsing wihj hot water and a paper towel. Takes a few mins a few times a week, and remembering to refreeze the ice block.

It would be nice if it came with TWO ice blocks. That's my only complaint.

Otherwise this is a great warmer for 20 bucks.

    UPDATE:
    ABOUT TOMMEE TIPPEE BOTTLES!
We recently purchased tommee tippee bottles for my son. We added the water we were told to via directions. 4. I heated the bottle and it felt REALLY hot. When I tested it it BURNED me. If I wouldn't have tested it my son would have been badly burned.

We realized this is due to how wide they are. Wider than usual wide bottles. There is NO gap to allow the steam to escape so the bottle heats up more than the usual bottle. ESP if you leave it in the unit a while after it heats up. It just continues to heat.

Also they do NOT fit in the cooler. Not even one. The cooler is useless with these bottles they are just too wide. We hardly ever use it but if you plan on using it a lot you might want another warmer If you're a tommee tippee user.

It can still be used with some precautions.
    - our formula Amt says to add water to 4. We now add to 3.
    - after the unit shuts off remove the bottle immediately.

Basically you have to experiment to find the proper water level. It will differ depending on how much your feeding is at the time.

Just wanted to add this because my baby could have been hurt.

We have used tomme tippee and avent bottle warmers in the past with our older children and we were happy with both products. This time we thought we would try this for the latest addition to our family and we are pleased so far. You do have to watch it and continually check it doesn't overheat as it warms. Checking is tricky while the steam is rising as it makes the bottle difficult to grasp until you get practiced at it. This problem applies to every bottle warmer we have used previously so it isn't a deal breaker.
The cooler is a nice feature, it does not fit two 8 ounce tommee tippee bottles side by side with the chill pack. Previous reviews mentioned the bottles fit the warmer and that is true. A bottle fits snugly in the basket. We have found we can only fit one bottle in the cooler and it is an awkward fit to include the chill pack as well.
All in all, we love the convenience of having an upstairs chiller and warmer and we can live the with drawbacks as we know it isn't specifically designed with the tommee tippee bottles in mind.

3.0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings
Reviewed in Canada on May 28, 2015
I have mixed feeling on this unit. Does not fit Tommee Tippee 5oz bottles properly in either casket so I've had to heat the bottle directly on the burner... works however has slightly melted a ring at the bottom of the bottle and makes it hard to lift the bottle out of the unit... had to change to Advent bottles. 2nd issue is I have to add a lot more water to properly heat the bottle, Tomy does come with a guide on how much water to use based on size of bottle and if its formula vs breastmilk, room temperature or refrigerated. Had a ton of trial and error to figure out what works and with a crying baby demanding his food and having to wait an extra few minutes because the bottle was still cold isn't fun. This unit is a lot bigger than majority of bottle warms out on the market because of the bottle cooler the sits on the back of the unit. Havent really used the bottle cooler but does work, does detach from the unit and has a handle bar. Nice feature to have for night time feeds in the bedroom or nursery and great for traveling. Overall unit is decent if not using TP 5oz bottles and figured the correct amount of water to properly heat the bottle without having to reheat or let chill cause it overheated. Other reviews said they had to wait 10mins for the unit to cool down before reheating...you don't have to wait, just add a little more water and press the start botton :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential for night feeds
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 10, 2011
When I had my son, we struggled with the logistics of how best to give him night feeds without going downstairs and waking visitors and our dogs! This product was recommended and it's been one of our best buys.

Like many of the best products, it's actually not a very sophisticated gadget. It basically consists of a cool box with ice pack and a bottle warmer stuck to the front of it. The cool box is detachable with a handle and the bottle warmer is super fast, quick enough to heat the bottle in the time it takes me to do a nappy change.

Others mention bottle compatibility, I use the Avent bottles and they fit perfectly.

Only one complaint, it comes with a really short power lead, which means you'd have difficulty putting it on a chest of drawers without an extension lead. A minor grumble though as it's a great product at a great price!
