    I've been a drummer in numerous rock-&-roll bands, off and on for 50 years. I am currently playing in an oldies-but-goodies "girl-band" quartet in Kailua-Kona, with three other very talented ladies. My trap-set includes the usual/standard Ludwig bass drum, two mounted toms, a floor tom, and snare. My cymbal configuration contains a Sabian hi-hat (both cymbals 14"), a Sabian 20" ride, a Sabian 16" crash, a Sabian 10" splash, and a Meinl 14" crash. I recently bought this 20" Zildjian from Amazon, and I simply love it. I've used Zildjian cymbals in other drum kits I've owned, and always found them to be excellent, in terms of sound timbre, resonance, decay, etc. Sabian cymbals are, indeed, a terrific value for the money (and, of course, they are actually made by a company founded by Robert Zildjian!), and I have been very happy with them. As for the Meinl, it's OK, but not as good as the Sabians. But, now that I've got a big Zildjian ride added to my kit, I'm using it probably 75% of the time. The sound is exceptional. Zildjian is extremely tough to beat, in my humblest of opinions, and, should I decide to put together a new trap-set sometime in the future, I shall most likely equip it with nothing buy Zildjians. This 20" Zildjian is highly recommended!

    Perfect cymbal if you're looking for a very deep, warm, and round sound. It's exactly what I was looking for and a very good price. It's definetly more of a crash cymbal though, as it's ride function is very bright and sharp. If you're looking for a warm round ride, a crash ride isn't exactly what you're looking for. However, as a deep crash, it is a beautiful cymbal.

    Drummers can be particular about their cymbals, and many will tell you not to buy this because it has too much tone or ringing some, but if you're not sure exactly what sound you want and you only have a reasonable amount of money at your disposal, this cymbal will definitely treat you well. you can always trust a zildjian to be at least adequate. these are better than that. they have flaws for sure, but when you're jamming on them or in a band, these will definitely get you going for a while, so don't waste your money if you're not completely sure. they really are great cymbals.

    I've played drums for 55 years and have 33 Zildjian high end cymbals, and this crash ride sounds and feels way too good for the price I paid. The bunch of ZBT and ZHT cymbals that I also own are so much better than any cheaper lines of cymbals in the 60's, 70's, 80's. Really wish that this quality existed back when I was 9! Go Zildjian!!!

    This cymbal was the perfect missing link to my kit. I don't want a huge amount of cymbals and this one is centered right in the range between my hihat and crash and has a lot of dynamic sweet spots as well. Arrived in perfect condition... hope it lasts a long time!
