Works great, I've been using these shower heads and filters for years. They are durable and last forever. I had to buy this design because we moved house and my other one which was just the head connecting directly into my shower is not compatible with my current shower.
I needed the head with the handle, hence had to buy this one.
I've never tested with the water strips how well it reduces the hardness out of the water but can tell from the calcium deposits reduction on my faucet as well as the improvement of my hair and skin how well these filters work.
Years ago I use to lose bundles of hair in the shower then started using the Culligan shower head and filter, my skin and hair improved tremendously and I just never stopped using it.
I'd highly recommend this shower head and filters.
