Colgate’s contour changing pad turns any flat surface into a baby changing station. Firm foam ridges on all three sides provide a secure cocoon for baby while being changed. The changing pad’s white, quilted cover cleans easily with a damp cloth and mild soap. Extra safety features include a rigid fiber support board, a safety strap, and screws to attach the changing pad. All Colgate crib mattresses, pads, and accessories are non-toxic and pass all government safety standards.

I am a first time mom and didn't know what to look for in a changing pad, but I knew I wanted it to be safe for our baby while also being functional and reasonably priced. Well, we have had nothing but good performance from this changing pad -- the contoured shape and safety strap are great for securing a wiggly baby, the padding is soft yet firm, and I feel good knowing that the baby is not breathing in off-gassing fumes thanks to the Greenguard certification. (For sleeping, we sprang for the Naturepedic organic mattress but since the baby won't be spending hours on the changing pad, Naturepedic's pad seemed like an unnecessarily expensive purchase.) We haven't opted to screw it to the furniture, but it's a nice feature which may become useful for us in the future when the baby is bigger and squirmier.

I purchased this for the "DaVinvci Jayden 3 Drawer Changer Dresser" and it's perfect. It has a little space between the edges. I love that it has the water proofing cover per-se over it so if an accident or a blowout happens I don't have to worry about any fabric being ruined on the changing pad, and I just have to change the sheet. The safety buckle is a nice edition even though my changing table came with it's own. I should also note that I was happy with the packaging! It comes pre-packaged and not packed by Amazon so it can't be tampered with or altered in anyway before delivery.

Feels like a memory foam changing pad. It does not fit into the smaller sized changing stations, but luckily is maliable enough to be forced into fitting (if you can't tell I have a smaller changing table).

This item comes with a seat belt to keep your rolly polly locked into the changing pad, feels like a memory foam, and will definately be water proof. I would still recommend buying a water proof liner for it (Summer Infant makes some nice cheap ones). I can easily see why this is the best selling changing pad on Amazon...great price and great quality.
