This watering can is great - it's been about 6months since we started using it, and it still looks new with pretty consistent use. ZERO leaks for us so far. NOTE - if your spout is missing check the box and packing, sometimes it falls off during shipping etc.
KEEP IT INDOORS - as with all simple plastic / rubber items, this will preserve it so much better than it being out in the elements. Especially in hot climates! We keep it in our kitchen and clean after every use and it's literally the same consition as the day we got it.
Very comfortable to fill (large opening) and use with the rubber grip, and this has stayed on perfectly so far. Spout is easy to put on and off
Love that the spout turns around and this makes storing it a lot easier, plus easier to fill and clean.
Good design to allow the little spout to slide onto the top of the can (there are little grooves, carefully slide it back onto the plastic)
We use it filled to the top pretty much and it's easy to handle and maneuver, good size - not too large and not too small if you have a bigger plant
Blue color is great and looks nice and modern without giving off that frumpy gardening vibe some products have lol :)
We paid $15 for the blue 2 liter one which is a steal, I believe retail is around $25 ish.

Two years ago, I got it in my head that I was gonna try my hand at gardening. In the spring, I got some planters, some soil, and various other gardening accoutrements, this watering can included. But I live in Phoenix, Arizona. Also I'm terrible at gardening. Everything died IMMEDIATELY. It was a massacre. I abandoned the ill-conceived project shortly thereafter.
This watering can has been sitting out on the porch ever since.
If you've never been to Phoenix, I would describe the climate as: "We don't get rain so much as we do horrifying apocalyptic dust storms". So, that's two summers worth of hardcore abuse and 115-degree-plus direct sunlight. And trust me, you have not experienced "Direct Sunlight" until you've experienced some Phoenix style "Direct Sunlight". That kind of solar radiation OBLITERATES normal plastics. Hell, it *melts asphalt* in the parking lots occasionally.
But as you can see, there is not a single hint of fading or brittleness in the plastic presently. No leaks or anything; still works like witchcraft. In the time I've owned it, I personally have aged worse than this watering can has. It's obscene. The removable head, and reversible spout are pretty cool too. I guess... buy this if you need a watering can that will survive some kind of doomsday nuclear annihilation scenario?
UPDATE: We're heading into year three now. Watering can still going strong and shiny. I'm starting to resent its resilience. It's sitting out on the porch questioning all my life choices, mocking me and my slow, inevitable march towards the grave.
