Important information

When I read an article from the Audubon Society that it is important to provide bats with a safe habitat, especially as more of our countryside is disappearing due to “progress”, I knew he’d love this gift!
It’s a great way to care for God’s creatures who keep the night flying insects under control as well as some types of bats are great pollinators!
This bat house is SOLIDLY BUILT from thick wood. It has ridges inside for the bats to hang from.
I would secure it firmly to the side of a tree, your house or if you’re renting hang on a plant hanger that mounts on a deck rail but use heavy-duty zip ties to secure it so it does not blow around in the wind. I would imagine a moving house would be scary even for a bat! MThis would be an awesome gift for anyone who is interested in preserving wildlife, bird and wildlife watchers, children to learn about nature and even grandparents- anyone, really!
Say yes to bats! They are our friends! ;)
