    We purchased this because it was suppose to be the same ball as her club team uses. The material for this seems a LOT harder than the new ones her team purchased around the same time (although different online store). We checked the recommended lbs. They are both Super Touch Molten so I'm sure why they are different other than color.

    It does appear to be good quality and we use it so she can practice with a ball similar to what her club team uses.

    I was so excited to get this ball because I had been using a Mikasa outdoor volleyball for a while that was getting too soft and flat for me and too hard when inflated. When I got this, I was disappointed to find that it was so hard that it hurt to play - even for a player of many years! What my friend and I did to "wear it out" is throwing the ball against the floor as hard as we can (this is also used as a warm up for players). It did the trick after a couple of throws and we were able to play like normal.

    Overall, excellent ball. You just need to wear it out more before it begins to get more comfortable to play!
