Customers like the entertainment value of the pet supplies. They say it's a great, stimulating toy, perfect for keeping their dog busy, and the smartly weighted head provides hours of entertainment. Customers also mention that it retains interest in it over time, even after they've mangled it.
"...It's a great tug-o-war toy, and he loves the large squeaker ball inside...." Read more
"...still play with it once the balls are chewed out but have lots of fun in the process!" Read more
"...lost it at the dog park unfortunately but it was a great toy" Read more
"...Otherwise, great toy!" Read more
Customers find the pet supply easy to hold. They mention that it's great for throwing, tug-of-war, and chewing. The weight to it makes it easier to throw at a distance, and the strips of material make it easy to fling. The unique shape makes it easy for them to carry and shake around. They also say that it is easy to launch really far. Overall, customers are happy with the ease of holding the product.
"Easy for me to throw. The durable "flaps" and smartly weighted "head" provide hours of entertainment...." Read more
"...It's easy to throw and play tug of war it's just a great toy it's so durable I'd buy it again but I don't think I'm going to have to" Read more
"...Better than a ball for outside throwing since it doesn’t roll away and I don’t have to chase it when he decides he is finished playing" Read more
"...It also works very well to tug as it's easy to grasp either the top or one of the legs with your hand, while the dog pulls the other end, although..." Read more
Customers are mixed about the durability of the pet supplies. Some mention that the product felt very durable and strong when they received it, while others say that it wasn't durable enough for their puppy. The fabric is a tough weave and it took longer for their dog to chew through than most, but the toy itself is still intact.
"...I've found that the X-Large size works best for him as it lasts longer than the Large size...." Read more
"...Now lasts weeks/month. Fabric is softer/less sturdy leading to ease destruction...." Read more
"...Even if he chews the head off, the body still lasts a long time. Out of all the toys in his bin, this is the one he plays with all the time." Read more
"...I’ve bought a few cause they enjoy them so much, but they can rip. They enjoy the squeaky noise, the people in the house not so much! Haha" Read more
Customers are mixed about the noise of the pet supplies. Some mention they enjoy the squeaky noise, while the people in the house not so much. The double sneeze is exciting for them, and the "belly" ball is a large, soft rubber squeezy with a relatively high pitch. The toy is sound, and is nearly silent for indoor playing. However, some customers say the'squeak' drives them insane, but it makes them happy.
"...It's a great tug-o-war toy, and he loves the large squeaker ball inside...." Read more

"...which GREATLY increases the life of these that is simple, easy, inexpensive.Zip ties. I get whatever size is cheapest in a 20 pack...." Read more
"...I really wish we could still get them. These things are expensive, fussy, and just not tough enough. And potentially dangerous...." Read more
"...If your dog isn’t a chewer, this is a great toy-well made, good price and great concept...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the size of the pet supplies. Some mention that it's good for a big dog, while others say that it is definitely more of a medium size. Some say that the ball is small enough to be swallowed.
"...It was quite a bit larger. It has one covered small tennis ball and a larger ball that contains the squeaker...." Read more
"...This one is very large and she won’t touch it. It’s too big for her mouth… It fits in her mouth, but it’s not a comfortable size for her to chew...." Read more
"Great for smaller dogs, but bigger breeds will eventually pull them apart (like our Bernese did to this one)." Read more
"...Haha!I also appreciate the different sizes, as I pet sit all kinds of breeds and size puppies." Read more
Customers are not happy with the chewability of the toy. They mention that it is not meant for aggressive chewers, it holds up well for play, but not for chewing. Some say their dogs love to chew it up and get the squeaker. The fabric of the product is not durable and can't withstand the chewing, making it unusable for a long time.

"Tails were chewed off way too easy & caught in dogs mouth." Read more
"...No stuffing inside, which I very much appreciate, so there's no choking hazard or danger of swallowing things...." Read more
"...The only downside is that she had already chewed through the fabric literally five minutes after opening it...." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the performance of the pet supplies. They say it's not a good toy for an aggressive chewer, it'd be disappointing for a Kong, and it lasted less than one day. The squeaker in this one failed in the first 2 hours, and the toy is having issues after a few days.

"...This is NOT a good toy for an aggressive chewer !!!" Read more
"...DoNot buy this toy if your dog is a chewer !!! This is a horrible kong toy. We will no longer be buying this brand ...." Read more
"...This worked great for a couple weeks. Then the tail strips were removed one by one. The main toy is still intact...." Read more

Zip ties. I get whatever size is cheapest in a 20 pack. I zip tie the bottom fabric gasket & a 2nd to retain form/separate the 2 balls (smaller from larger). Any sharp edges on the zip ties can be softened or rounded to prevent injury by melting & molding sharp edges smooth in the hard plastic zip ties with a wand lighter (just practice safety). This saved one Kong that was 8 years old @ another that was days old from this seller (when both would’ve been trash-bound).
These are then good for fetch, tug, shaking. For those dogs that tend to lie there & destroy (I.e. puppies/adolescent ~ 1 yr old “destructive stage”) - these will need supervision & removal to prevent shredding/eating the flappy material & help teach appropriate play.
Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2024
Construction: This was a big toy (as one might expect from a toy labelled "extra large"), and measured about 16" long and around 3" across the widest part of the body. The large "belly" ball is a large, soft rubber squeaker with a relatively high pitch that was quite loud. The small ball at the top was a standard "dog-safe" tennis ball. The whole apparatus is covered in a nylon "canvas" that is pretty durable for tug play. The cover is held in place with bands of the same fabric where the two balls meet and where the tail is joined to the bottom. That bottom band was the Wubba's downfall here.
The dogs: Breque is a 35# Red Heeler/Kelpie mix, who is very high energy and hard-playing. She has outgrown chewing, but loves to work her powerful jaws on things (she can pop a new regulation tennis ball), and to shake and throw toys around. Lance is an 80# Lab-Pit mix, about 2 years old, who would much rather lie around and maul - not chew, maul - things. He picks threads to open toys so he can pull the squeakers out, de-furs fuzzy toys (picks the fur out one tuft at a time), unlaces shoes, and mauls anything with any sort of resistance. Breque could probably have played with the Wubba for a long time (in fact, she has a smaller version), but Lance mauled it in half. Literally. The fabric band at the base gathers the rest of the cover together and joins it to the tails. That means there are some small, semi-rigid pleats, and a lovely (and probably otherwise sturdy) band of fabric that just begs to be mauled. Lance picked at the pleats until they gave way and then chewed the tails off.
On a good note: the tails have survived a lot of tugging and shaking and chewing since the demise of the original toy, and I stuffed the supersized squeaker in an old sock to make a new toy for supervised play. Unfortunately, the two just aren't as appealing as the original toy, so they don't get much attention unless there's a human involved.
For supervised play or for dogs who have matured out of the chewing/mauling stage, I would still definitely recommend the Wubba. Our dogs loved it both for interactive play and as the go-to toy to entertain themselves, and we may try again once Lance gets past the Mr. Destructo stage.
