On the bright side, the back seemed easier to put together this time but that may be because I took care to follow all the steps shown in the instructions.
There were no separate screws for the door magnets as claimed on the instructions. Luckily there were four extra back screws, which are larger than needed., so I used them. It took a fair amount of fiddling to get the magnets lined up to actually engage, especially on the left door.
When it came time to put on the shelves, a number of holes were too small for the pins so it was a struggle to get them in. In one case I had to slowly enlarge the hole with a screw driver to get it wide enough to the pin.
My biggest disappointment is that the shelves, once positioned on the grooves intended to keep them in place, prevent the left door from fully closing. When I push, I can see light marks on the door where it meets with each of the shelves. If I move the shelves so there are in all the way then I can close the door but the grooves on the shelf bottoms no longer align with the pins. This would be "okay" BUT the shelves are so narrow that two of them won't rest on at least one of its pins (and cannot hold any weight without falling). Now the shelves are resting on the pins, not aligned with the grooves or pushed against the back. So I'm not sure how stable they will be when I add and remove items going forward.
My suspicion is either the hinge on the left door -- pre-attached to the wood -- is either a little too far into the cabinet or the pin holes on the left side panel were drilled too close to the door.
For me to say that something is easy to assemble means something special. I am competent with my head but a total klutz when it comes to my hands; I'm an uncoordinated spaz. For this reason, I HATE ASSEMBLING FURNITURE; if there's any way to screw it up, I'll find it.
I have learned through the school of hard knocks to take my time when assembling furniture, so I carefully reviewed the instructions before beginning and referenced them for each of the five steps.
The unit delivered to me was made in Thailand. It was very carefully packed and therefore blemish free. I started by taking inventory and ensuring that every piece was present and undamaged. I then inspected every piece of wood to ensure that all of the holes referenced in the instructions were there. The instructions I received did have verbiage, which was helpful. I assembled it on a large table because, without shelves or doors, it's not heavy and did almost everything exactly according to instructions. The only thing I did differently was place the shelf-supporting pins (not the shelves themselves) before the doors were on.
It's very important to do step 1, preparation of the doors. Even with this step, one of the doors didn't align perfectly and I had to play with it a bit. My biggest challenge was getting the back on properly. The unit tends to be not precisely rectangular with just the top, bottom and sides fastened together; it skews just a tad. You can easily see this (if you're paying attention) because EVERY HOLE IS PREDRILLED. If the back is properly aligned (with the caution label right side up), the holes do line up (within a millimeter). It took quite a bit of tweaking the frame to get things aligned but they did eventually align. I screwed two of the four corners (loosely) first, aligned again, and screwed the other two corners loosely. I then inserted screws from the corners inward, all loosely. Once they were all in, I went round-robin and tightened mostly but not totally. The, one final round-robin to tighten completely.
Be sure to install the magnets while the unit is lying down, so you can see what you're doing. The holes for them are predrilled too. Do not tighten completely. Place the unit and hang the doors. Then, move the magnets such that they hold securely and tighten their screws.
I'm sure a handy person could do the entire process, from unpacking through completion in less than a hour. It took me two and a half hours; I am very happy and can recommend this unit without reservation. Four stars because, as other reviewers have noted, it's more like a deep cherry than a walnut, but I can live with that.

My one con for this one is that one of the doors doesn't stay sealed shut via the magnets. I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately sent me a set of replacement magnets (no charge) but the replacements still didn't resolve the issue. That said, it 'could' be that I might not have done the door assembly correctly...so take this con with a grain of salt...it might be that it's my error, and not a product flaw.
Overall review: Great little cabinet, stylish, nice size, easy assembly, and a very good value for the price.
In all, this is a flimsy product especially for the price.
