I love this mat. I'm so happy I ordered it. Shipping was fast and there was no damage.
My size: I am 5'8" and 175 and this mat is a fine size for me.
The mat's size: 2 ft wide x 6 ft long x 2 in deep Folded in the carrying position it is 23 in x 23 in x 5.5 in and very lightweight & easy to carry because it has handles.
The feel: the outside is a very soft vinyl. The foam material inside is good, and I am not feeling the floor through it. It is soft, and that is what I wanted. I bought this because my joints are bony and sensitive. It's working great. If I begin to feel the floor or it slides, I will just put a standard yoga mat under it for the grip and additional cushioning. If my hands get sweaty and slip on the mat (which has not happened yet) I will put a gripping yoga towel on it.
The smell: At first I didn't notice a smell, but after a few hours with it closed in a room I noticed it when I went in there. There is a slight menthol smell to it. I'm going to air it out for a week or two and see if it goes away. If it doesn't I will update the review since I really dislike odors. This is the only thing that slightly concerns me so I'm keeping the 5 stars for now. UPDATE (the next day): The smell goes away! I aired it out in my mudroom overnight and it somewhat dissipated, but then I hung it outside for about 5 or 6 hours and the smell is 90% gone. I think if I air it out tomorrow it will be completely gone.
The look: It looks really nice and sleek. The packaging says it maintains its original shape, and it seems like it will. It bounces right back after you step off of it.and safely wipe it down after use.

I have scoliosis and one side of my back sticks out making it painful to do crunches etc on a normal yoga mat. I used an everlast brand pad at a hotel gym and it was so much more comfortable for me, but that brand is $100+.

So i got this mat. It works well for me for any exercises on my back, much more comfy! though the material is a bit cheaper and noisy when moving around, but not a big deal. It is unfortunately a lot more uncomfortable to do exercises on my front, planks etc, there is too much sinking and it causes more wrist pain.

Pros:
- When you fold the three squares up, as it is designed to do, it stands independently and can be easily stored tucked beside/behind other furniture.
- Handles make it easy to grab and move around.
- Affordable
- Plenty of cushion for exercises/stretches where pressure is more evenly distributed -- lying on back or side, sitting, etc -- for this 140 lb PT patient

Neutral:
- Enough cushioning to provide almost complete (but not quite complete) relief when I am holding a stretch that puts significant pressure on my knees -- I can feel the hardwood floor just touch the tip of my knees through the mat.

Cons:
- Mat is not very dense and is developing divots in the areas where I regularly put down a lot of pressure -- ie, where my knees usually are when I'm holding certain stretches. Obviously shifting about a bit helps with this, but imagine it won't hold up for more than a year without large areas becoming quite thin, at this rate.
