Now, this is NOT a saw for tree live or green trees limbs of branches - it's for dry wood only. It works fabulously in softwoods, but requires a bit more practice in harder woods. The saw can be used on plywood, but unless you have no other choice, I'd avoid doing so. The teeth are impulse/induction hardened so they are VERY hard and stay sharp for a very long time. HOWEVER, because of that hardness, teeth can be broken off or the blade can be snapped if it twists too much - but if either of those happens you're abusing the saw.
I highly recommend the Z-Saws to anyone, especially those who are just starting to saw by hand.

This saw becomes an extension of your arm. It is well designed and easy to grip.
It is so handy that I also use it in the yard for small trees that began growing along my fence.
It is a small saw.. so if that what you want.. I recommend it!
Really though, this saw is great. It cuts a paper-thin line through wood, which is perfect for accurate joints. Just be sure that you know how small it is though. Read the specs on its dimensions. FABULOUS VALUE at $16 and some change. I want 20 more in varying sizes and blade widths. In a single sentence; "Bangerang, Rufio."
