I’ve been a competitive swimmer for 18 years now. I found this brand and style of goggles early on (about 8 years old). I won’t buy another pair. The comfort and design are incredible. The mirror effect does help shield the eyes for backstroke. And the goggles are easily adjustable and fit around the eyes snug, but not uncomfortably. Each pair usually lasts me 2-3 years and when one pair gets run down I just go buy the exact same ones again! Great goggles, would recommend for anyone looking for goggles, especially in a race/training setting

I love Speedo goggles and particularly these. The silicon gaskets make a nice seal around the eyes, so they rarely let in water. I also like the fact that the nosepiece is really adjustable. My face is difficult to fit - if I buy a set of goggles that claims to fit 90% of the population, you can bet it won't fit me. So I really appreciate that even if you have a prominent nose, no matter how narrow or wide, you should be able to find a nosepiece that works for you. Once you've found your nosepiece, you don't need to hang on to the rest. It's a bit fiddly to change them out, because they're quite secure once they're in place.

A pair of these will last me 300 - 500 swims (2-3 years) before they need replacing. If you don't hang them out to dry, you will get mold between the gasket and the plastic. The other potential weakness is the plastic bit that holds the strap in place. If bits snap off, the goggle doesn't hold. Those challenges are true on most goggles and are worth it to me for the comfort, fit and reliability that I get from this very reasonably priced set of goggles.

I've had these goggles before and I don't know any brand that will not fog up but these fogged up on the first lap. To be honest that isn't a big deal for me because if you use the liquid hand soap at the gym (or use the stuff from your house) on the inside of the lens, that coating works a 10000x better than any anti-fog coating. My goggles have never once fogged up using this method, give it a shot. Beyond the anti-fog coating, these goggles fit great, are easy to adjust and I'm a big fan of the mirror lens. My last pair I had for about 5+ years and the nose peace finally cracked in half.
