I've thought many times about how well this belt has served me and I wanted to finally come back and give it a review to help y'all pick a handsomely sturdy belt; and my remarks to the workmen. I hope every customer can have the experience I've had with this tool.
In the market for a sturdy gun belt, I chose this Aker polymer-backed leather belt. It has been an incredible belt and stood up to many hours of abuse by more forces than should be applied to a belt alone. If kids are strong, they can pull themselves up to climbing all over a person who wears this belt. If their adult can wear it, kids can attach and use it to pull themselves up and stand on it while mounted; 40 lbs and more, it does undoubtedly hold. The most dangerous thing about this belt is that, if you're tied to a moving vehicle by it, it won't break before you've been badly hurt.
I bought it to carry a 9mm SW Shield; it does just that, frequently.
There is little wear to be noticed for the torture tests it has been through on my person; I cannot speak enough about the comfort, look, performance and durability of this master worksmanship. I thank the gentlemen and women who put together a team of people who can serve their customer so well that it comes to mind, more often than not, when I put it on each day.
