Product Description

Ideal for outdoor work or leisure activities during frigid weather, Muck Arctic Sport Rubber High Performance Men's Winter Boots will keep your feet warm in temperatures as low as -40 °F (-40°C), even when you're standing ankle deep in snow and slush. Offering both support and comfort, these insulated boots have a contoured midsole and warm fleece lining with thermal foam under the footbed. The 5 mm neoprene in these men's snow boots offers numerous benefits: it's waterproof, it absorbs shock, retains heat and prevents chafing by adjusting to the natural contours of the feet. These men's winter boots with molded lugs are built with a fully-sealed rubber shell that extends high above the ankle for extra protection when walking in deeper snow.

Make the Arctic-like conditions your playground in this sporty boot from Muck Boots. Lightweight, well insulated, and sure to keep your feet warm and comfy as the Mercury dips, this sturdy boot offers 100% waterproof protection, keeping snow, ice, and slush at bay with ease. Its upper shaft stretches for a close under- or over-the-pants fit. A breathable lining wicks moisture away for a comfy, dry feel, while the molded rubber outsole keeps you steady on your feet.

Most Disappointing--Lasted less than a year!

Most Disappointing--Lasted less than a year!
The boot seemed durable--at first. But today, I noticed that the toe cap caused a crease in the plastic and it split. These boots have not been used for heavy duty or even in rugged terrain, but after paying $100, I expected that they would last longer. I have had them less than a year and it's not like I wore them every day (they are quite hot). It appears that the design of the boot places stress along the line of the toe cap that causes the surface plastic to wear out as the boot flexes. My previous pair of boots were a $30 pair from Farm and Fleet and they lasted two years. Prior to that, I had some from Baffin Bay and North Face, both of which lasted many years. I had been impressed by the reviews I read and the reputation of this product, but I would strongly suggest that customers consider other brands before spending this kind of money.

It seems like the sizing has changed on The Muck Co. boots. They now feel like they run small. They claim to be unisex, could that be the issue? Worried the next size up will be too big and no half sizes....

I found a great deal on these boots to get for my dad - I already owned a pair and loved them, so knew my 81 year old farmer dad would too. Surprised to get two left feet! No options to exchange them, only to refund. Now they cost $50 more. Disappointed service.

After mulling over Mucks and Bogs for weeks, and even after finding some Bogs for supercheap at a discount dept store (Marshalls), I finally decided on the Mucks. The reviews for comfort won me over. I purchased these as an early Christmas gift for my boyfriend and gave them to him 2 days ago -so this review is NOT based on much experience, but thought I'd share what we know so far! My bf is HARD on shoes! He goes through them fast! He just tore a tread off his 2 month old waterproof hiking boot (and now there's a hole, which leaks!)and last year's winter boots (brand? off the shelf @ a Dept Store) cracked and leaked within a few weeks, so this year I was looking for something especially tough and waterproof, as well as comfortable and warm. The early review is they ARE indeed comfy and warm and sturdy (very small steel toe bit at the front) but they DO get slippery on some surfaces! Another Muck reviewer warned that he nearly broke his back on a wet concrete patio, a review I found after my purchase, so as my bf slipped these suckers on, I warned him about that review! Sure enough, the first night he wore them it was rainy -the reason he put them on after all! and he said that on a few sets of wet staircases (metal I think) the boots did get slippery, which is a bummer, as the rubber tread certainly feels grippy...when dry, at least! I was hoping he could wear these on his deliveries, maybe with a set of those snow-grips for traction, but he seems skeptical of that and doesn't want to risk a fall. I'm sure he will probably wear them through the winter, shoveling and walking and doing regular outdoor chores & activities, but won't risk wearing them on wet or icy surfaces when carrying/pushing/pulling heavily loaded handcarts. Kind of a bummer since I was hoping he could wear these to work since he's in and out of a truck over cold nights. I certainly hope they last the winter, as they are pricey! If these fail on us, I'm going to have to invent some Goodyear boots complete with tire chains!

Had these for over a month now, and still going strong. They fit perfectly and are warm, even in the deepest snow. Will buy more of this brand when I need to.

I purchased this boot three years ago to wear during the fall and winter hunting seasons. For the first two years of use, the boots did as advertised, they were warm, waterproof, extremely comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. This year, the sides of each boot have cracked in the area where the boot flexes when walking and have started leaking. Also, the soles are starting to separate in the same area. For the price that I paid for these boots, I would have expected them to last several more years, as I only wear them during hunting season. Great boot, but like so many other things we buy now a day, they just don't last!

Did not purchase this pair here (but have purchased other Muck boots on Amazon, and had to send them back - due to poor ft.). Reading reviews here, I notice the description of this boot & a taller one (same but higher on calf) note that they are "unisex" sizes. I was thinking I got ripped off as the ones I bought locally, and tried on in store, were not on sale as these on Amazon. However, the ones I bought are NOT unisex - perhaps that's why mine fit perfectly. Bought a size women's 8 - the box says they are built on a women's last. Not sure how that differs from a man's, but I do know that the previous ones bought here, in unisex size, did NOT fit my foot. These do: and I have a bunion on one large toe, and a previously arthritic & broken large toe on the other foot. I am actually looking forward to winter now! It sometimes pays to buy on line - but only if what you are buying is the SAME as what is in a store.
