Love but has defective top
I love this sofa table. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because there is a defect in the underpart of the top piece. That defect happens to be in the front and I tried to put in the back but because of the hole placement, it had to be the front. Also, it is pretty green which I was not expecting. I got Farmhouse Gray which I wasn’t sure what that would look like but I will definitely say it’s very green-gray. Other than those 2 concerns, it’s great. It was very easy to put together. Instructions recommend 2 people for assembly but I did it by myself in about an hour.If I would have bought this from a store I would probably return due to the defect but since it was ordered online it seems it would be more of a hassle to get the defected part replaced.

Incredibly pleased with this console table. I wasn't expecting it to be such great quality at this price point, but I was very impressed.

It's well-designed, very sturdy, and the attention to detail is pretty stunning. It looks better than I was honestly expecting, and fits great in the area I got it for.

As far as cons go, I'd have liked it to be a bit taller, and I wish they'd have pre-drilled the holes for the more delicate assembly areas or gone with smaller screws for the door hinges ( we split the wood in one area, though not noticeably nor should it effect the structural integrity )

Additionally, the backing was pretty demolished out of the box though nothing else was damaged. It wasn't really necessary for what we're using it for so all in all still 5 stars.

For what it's worth _ never_ leave reviews but I was so impressed I decided to take the time.

Just as other reviews have stated, this product was ridiculously complicated to put together; and that was with two of us. The directions were extremely vague- it took about 5 hours from start to finish and lots of frustration. The end product looks good, I gave it 4 stars because of the quality and value for your buck. Good luck putting it together. If I had to do it again, I would pay a little extra to have it assembled (and I've assembled many, many things before- from ikea to furniture I've bought online).

Once you get the hang of putting together something from IKEA, which I have done, this build was a piece of cake. But even with experience it will take about 45 minutes to complete.
One change I'd make: the cabinet door knobs are definitely the wrong color. The kit came with nickle finish knobs. I went to Home Depot and purchased similar shaped knobs in flat black. They look like they belong since there are nearly black accent lines in the doors.

I had the same problem as another reviewer - some of the screws wouldn't completely tighten so I added some wood glue in the holes. The mounting holes for the back panel were completely missing from the unit so I had to drill eight holes. On one of the two doors the holes were placed slightly too low, so the bottom of the door rubs against the frame; I will have to drill some new holes to fix this. You have to provide your own floor protectors for the bottom of the one inch square legs. This was a tedious all day project. On the plus side, there was no missing hardware, it was very well packed and the pieces were in good condition. I have a 36 inch TV sitting on top, and this piece matches nicely with a pair of Winsome's espresso finish Leo bookcases.
