I purchased the istun after my neighbors has recently been robbed and felt the need to have some sort of portable security device on me at all times. The istun is so cool. From the front and back it looks exactly like a real cell phone. The side is a little thick but it's not a big deal. The case is really cool and it prevents the stun gun for misfiring. I love everything about it n I'm really happy I made the purchase. I think if someone tries to rob me they'll be in for a shocker :)

Well I have received quite a bit of questions and feedback for this product so I figured I would write an update. I still have the device, over 1 year later and it still stuns like the first day I bought it. A few of my friends and family have decided to buy it after they see mine. My cousin actually wanted to try it so we stunned him.. MAN OH MAN.. I will post the video up soon! I carry it with me on most days/nights and I have no complaints about the size. I am in the market now for a flashlight and stun gun and I have my eye on the guard dog security diablo 2.

Looked like a cool and useful item so I bought it and it came quickly. It comes to your door and has all the attributes of a cell phone. The first thing you see when you open the box is a really nice case and then the ISTUN!

Immediately I picked it up and tested it's "disguise-ability". I put it in my palm and showed my wife and told her I got a new phone case. She believed it.. until I SHOCKED IT! She was utterly surprised and wanted one right away. I then showed my teenage daughter who thinks I'm always the backwards one when it comes to technology. She believed it.. until I SHOCKED IT!

My neighbor's son wanted to try it. I let him and his buddy take it for a spin. He shocked him in the leg and he fell right away! A red mark was left but one that will go away.

On a more serious point, that comes to show that this device can pass as a smartphone. I live in a safe area but no matter where you are, your phone is always a target. If you walk around with a gun it just causes more alarm. You get a lot for the price in this stun gun. Not only a powerful stun gun, but one that can hide easily in public.

P.S. finally received a new one and it works fine and I am please with it. You just have to make sure you charge it longer then they listed.

I never go anywhere without this.I feel safer with it in my purse or on my belt loop.looks like a phone most people thinks thats what it accidentally jolted myself found it to be a startling numbing experience which tells me if I needed to use it in a life death situation I might be able to get away from a criminal.I like the led light feature as well

I have owned this 1 year 3 month.6 months in the belt clip ripped so was not able to wear it on my belt.then it needed to be recharged every 2 days now it no longer holds a charge.I had to use it once while walking my german shepherd against an attacking pit bull.I have not used it since do check it everyday to make sure it works because of the world we live in but now i need a new one since it wont hold a charge after its charged its very weak volts so it would not be useful in time of need

What I like - disguise of looking like a cell phone and it's power can really knock you. It's not a "toy type" that just stings and makes lots of scary noise - it will work as a real stunner. Off/on, and fire switches work good and are reliable. Nice carry case.

What I don't like - the size is funky. It's bulky and should be thinner, and the fake phone part should be backlit and make it look more like a real phone. It looks very hokey and fake if you even look at it for more than a few seconds. Hopefully a few seconds is all are going to need when you pull it out. You also can't tell when it is fully charged.

I would hate for someone to get me in the back with this thing. It is powerful and has a "different feel" than some other stun guns I have been hit with.

I go to a university that isn't in the best neighborhood. I had a traditional stun gun, but it was bulky and rather obvious. Also, the only place I could conceal it was in my purse, which wasn't a huge help. This stun gun though is perfect for when I get out of night classes. I can honestly say that this is comfortable to carry, and (although it is thicker than an iPhone) no one seems to notice it's a stun gun. I can carry this in my hand when walking the few blocks to my car alone at 10 p.m. and no one asks any questions. Also, it does not look so much like an iPhone that I would ever get the two mixed up. I did not even had the product for a week and it broke from a foot and a half height, it did not cracked or anything but definitely u could hear pieces inside since it was working, so , loose pieces, way overpriced, and loose pieces, I tried to call the company back for manufactured warranty and they haven't replied my 2 messages, don't buy this product, my buddy right now is an electrician and is playing with it right now to see if it works , but in the meantime this product has the worst of the worst
