Now it does have some quirks. It prefers sweeping on grass, it's as if the grass lifts the leaves and gives it something to sweep against. The wheels turn the sweeping bristles so the ground needs to be mostly even. If part of your yard has bumps in it, the sweeper does have trouble working there as the wheels need good contact to turn the brush. (We have alot of rocks and uneven ground in some areas.) If you have a really thick area of leaves that have piled up, say pushed in a pile by the wind, it gets clogged. It doesn't do well on a multiple layer of leaves. You can roll it back and forth and get it moving but when leaves are that thick it's usually easier to rake there anyway.
One thing I did not see discussed is the front has a height adjuster. So I want to mention it. Low to high. It's the same principle of a vacuum that you have to adjust when you go from floor to carpet. What does this matter? Well after you pick up the larger amount of leaves you adjust the height to go back and pick up the few that didn't get swept up. No it does not pick up every single leaf. Part of the reason is the sweeper is throwing it in the air into the bag behind it, so yes some fly out. But raking doesn't get every leaf either and blowers don't pick leaves up at all.
Several people commented on it being plastic. For me, I like that it is because it is so light weight I can lift it with one hand. It makes it alot easier to push. Plus it doesn't get ruined if you leave it out in the rain. The bag part fills up very quickly and it is quite easy to lift it out and empty it. However the frame at the top pops out of it's bracket. This is easily fixed with some tape to hold it in place. Same issue with the bottom corner of the bag, the frame rod pops from the corner. Again tape fixes it.
It really does save alot of time and physical effort. Plus great for the enviroment as it's powered by you. No gas, no noise, no fumes, yay! If your yard gets alot of leaves and you have alot of grass coverage, this sweeper will help you get your leaves up so much more effortlessly. On the uneven or dirt and rock areas, I suggest a rake or blower to make a pile and then use Gardex Leaf Scoops to get them picked up quick.

Despite it's quirks it is a very useful tool. You'll get more done faster with less fatigue.
Cons: Cheap, Poor build quality, But doesn't work perfectly.
First time home owner/ late-in-life home owner; Dealing with fall leaves on the lawn for the 1st time in life.
Was looking for something easier than a rake and less heavy and noisy than a leaf blower. I didn't want to make
a big investment in a tool without being sure it was going to work. This seemed like a nice cheap entry model.
My verdict: This thing helps, but this can't be my only weapon in the leaf wars..
I've used it a few times this season. It gets a lot of leaves up, but having said that:
1) The bag fills up fast and I have to empty frequently. That means staged piles or lots of repeat trips to one big pile.
2) I have to re-roll the same areas frequently; it doesn't always pick up all the leaves on the first pass.
This gets worse on really uneven ground patches of my lawn (and I have a lot of those).
3) Seems to work best on large dry leaves; wet and smaller ones.. not so well.
Still, it can break down what seems like an overwhelming task into a conquerable one when I do a first pass with it.
I thought it might be good for my wife, who has a neck injury, but she still prefers the traditional rake,
So, it's become my tool only - and very happy to use for quick runs over the lawn between major clean up sessions.
I found construction quality to be poor. As soon as the second usage, the bag frame started to come apart on me. I even lost the top plastic connector. I was able to rectify with a little creative mastic epoxying and duct tape. It''s perfectly fine now. Might I suggest you pick up a tube of some when you get this?
All in all, I will keep it and use it till it breaks. At this price point, if it lasts 2-3 seasons, I will feel like I got my monies worth.
At that point I will decide if I might want to upgrade or try a different tool / solution.
