We have a Colgate Classica III toddler mattress and it’s a great fit. I didn’t expect it to be so nice at this price point, it exceeded my expectations by far.

As others have noted, putting this together gets a little crazy when the slats & dowels come due. Some slates are juuuuuust not quite long enough, sometimes the holes drilled in the slats mean the dowels can go to deep... but all in all once done it's very sturdy and I have no worries about it falling apart with my toddler in it. Here's my pro-tip to save your sanity when getting to the aforementioned slats & dowels. Everyone is right, it is rough. The directions tell you to put the dowels into the slats and then try to finagle the second base board into that... I tried that and it was terrible. Here's what I did instead and found it MUCH easier. After getting the slats & dowels into the one side of the base board, lay the whole shebang down on the floor and push that first side board against the wall (or something solid). Now, PUT THE DOWELS INTO THE SECOND BASE BOARD. They're loose, so they won't stay in, but you can lay it on the floor next to the slats and then one by one finagle the slats & dowels into the second base board's holes that you CAN NOW SEE! Then using my knee, I could put pressure on the slats & dowels that I'd already aligned. Once they were all in, I just screwed in the final screw into the center slat and boom... done! That method made it MUCH easier. All in all it took me about 45 minutes to put it together solo.

I purchased this product 2 months ago when it was on sale for $35. My husband was able to put it together pretty quickly and only needed my help when securing the slats to the side rails. The bed is sturdy and beautiful; it does not have a cheap feel to it in the least. I am happy I was able to get a good deal, but would gladly pay the original price of $75 knowing what I know now. My 2yo loves his new "Big Boy Bed" and sleeps very well in it.

I can assemble just about anything with ease , the directions for this were not simple , the video did a better job showing how to put it together, the holes pre drilled into the peices were off set and not uniform and when assembling wood splintered , for the price it’s decent and it holds up but if your kids jump on the bed I feel like it will fall apart

This bed was an absolute WASTE of money. Poor craftsmanship, cheap parts and warped cross sections of wood. I can't even return it because it literally started to crumble as I was attempting to make due with what I had to work with. I'm sure others has a better experience but it seems like the quality control associates were absent the day my product was made and packaged.
