We used cloth diapers for our first child but didn't have a laundry room sink or this sprayer. Therefore almost every diaper ended up being rinsed in the bathroom sink and then the sink was disinfected. Needless to say it was a process. We looked into having a laundry room sink installed, but this sprayer was a little bit less money...
I ended up installing the sprayer while my wife changed a diaper. It took me less than five minutes to install the sprayer. It would have taken a little longer if I installed the hanger on the wall, but it works great just hanging on the side of the toilet with the included bracket. We turn the valve off when it's not being used just in case our three year old gets curious. After reading several reviews about sprayers we also purchased a "Spray Pal - Cloth Diaper Sprayer Splatter Shield". It definitely helps contain any extra spray but you could use the sprayer without the spray shield, you'd just need to be a little more careful.
We've probably earned our money back on the sprayer in the money we've saved in disinfectant for the sink.
Bottom line, we think it's worth the money.

This was a little more difficult to install than the reviews and description led me to believe. If your toilet is new, I'm sure it's a breeze, but my toilet is about 15 years old, and the parts were crusted and wouldn't budge, which resulted in me breaking them, and having to replace all the innards of the toilet after my bathroom flooded....
But once installed, I love it! It has great water pressure, it's super easy to use, and a good, long hose (I'm estimating 2 feet?). This is a great sprayer for any cloth diapering parent.

We got this diaper sprayer 7 months ago, preemptively before our son was born because I knew I wanted to do cloth diapering. It wasn't until about 2-3 months ago when he was several months old that we felt solid enough as first time parents to handle cloth diapering on top of a new child.

The installation was easy and relatively quick. It was a really nice fit, saw no leaks, and the only issue we had for a while was my friend thought it was a manual bidet. :\ What we really liked was how easy it was to use - to turn off the valve, retrieve and replace the handle on it's holder, etc.

About 2 weeks ago we noticed it started leaking. And I don't mean just like a few drops, I'm talking about a decent size pool of water beneath the toilet that actually leaked through the floor and into the ceiling on the floor below. So I checked it out to see where the leak was coming from, and it appeared to be coming both out of the metal cord itself as well as the handle. I immediately contacted Bumkins customer service and was contacted back within 3 days (2 of those days were the weekend - I have bad timing). The customer service agent sent a replacement system in 2 business days, and I just got it today. Really great, responsive customer service team on hand.

I only give it 4 stars because of the leak itself. For it to have only been used for about 2-3 months, I wouldn't have expected it to start leaking like that so quickly. But whatever the case was, Bumkins worked quickly to get us a replacement system, not asking us to do any hassle work to get our busted system sent in, they just got it to us quickly. And for that they have my business for a long time! :)

So, I will be honest upfront and tell you I could not install this myself. I am by all means not handy with any sort of basic plumbing and as soon as I tried to install it, toilet water went everywhere.
Apparently shutting off the water supply first is a major step lol

Anyway, so I had my father install it for me, and after 20 minutes of grunting, cursing, and head shaking, he eventually got it installed into our terribly old pipework.
When I asked him how easy it was to install, he looked at me with this dumbfounded look and asked if I had heard him cursing or not lol. Then with a sigh, he informed me that it was our plumbing that had made it difficult, not the sprayer itself, so there's that.

The sprayer itself is really quite sturdy. the nozzle holder attached to the tank easily and it looks good in our bathroom (probably the nicest thing in there, actually)
The power to the spray is AMAZING. I was worried about low pressure, but that's not the case with this sprayer. What's better is that it's a very smooth and easily to depress the switch to spray, which makes for EASY power control... which is good because if you go at the diapers full blast, poo flings everywhere. With this nozzle I don't even need the Spray Pal tool, because I can spray at the pressure I need, without it going overboard on pressure.
I hope that made sense.
In short:

PROS-
-Looks nice
-Powerful spray
-Easy to control
-No leaking

CONS-
-You MUST turn off the valve after each use to prevent leaks
-Have to empty the hose after turning off the valve to prevent leaks
-I needed help installing

All in all, The pros far outweigh the cons and I wouldn't be cloth diapering today had it not of been for this sprayer. (And, to be fair, you need to turn off the valve and empty the hose with any sprayer if you want it to last... Also, it's not the sprayer's fault that I was too stupid to install it lol, that's why I didn't deduct any stars :D )

5.0 out of 5 stars CLOTH DIAPERS MUST HAVE! Easy installation!
Reviewed in Canada on August 9, 2016
When my wife first introduced the idea of using cloth diapers opposed to regular, run of the mill disposable diapers, I was honestly on the fence. She actually brought the diaper sprayer idea to my attention -- and thank goodness for that!

The Bumkins Diaper Sprayer is SO easy to install, and can be done within a matter of a few minutes. The ease of installation truly surprised me.

When it comes to using the sprayer, it works exceptionally well! The pressure the sprayer exerts is phenomenal! We use this daily, and would honestly not be able to use cloth diapers for our daughter if it wasn't for the Bumkins Diaper Sprayer.

5.0 out of 5 stars This product has made my cleaning routine SO MUCH easier
Reviewed in Canada on December 1, 2018
We received our sprayer a couple of days ago, and I was able to install without tools, as advertised. It was a little awkward, due to the location and accessibility of the back of our toilet, to make sure that I got everything on straight without harming the threading on the T valve, but a bit of fiddling got it done. It does not leak, though I do not leave the valve open to the hose all the time so as not to tempt fate; I turn the T valve lever to the on position when I need to clean diapers, and revert to the off position in between to avoid any potential for slow leakage.

That said, prior to having this product, I was soaking and scrubbing newborn diaper inserts and covers by hand in the sink or a Rubbermaid tub, discarding solids, and disinfecting my cleaning area. With only 7 diaper covers that currently fit our son, I am doing this laundry rotation daily, and the soaking and scrubbing alone was taking 30-60 minutes. The diaper sprayer has cut that down to 5, and because I am rinsing directly into the toilet, there are fewer surfaces to clean afterward. So simple!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value.
Reviewed in Canada on April 19, 2015
I consider a diaper sprayer essential to my cloth diapering system so when our 2nd hand BumGenius sprayer quit we decided to try a less expensive model. This is easy to install & works as it should. The Bumkins doesn't have as strong a spray but is strong enough to do its job & it doesn't stop as cleanly (a few droplets of water escape after every use - not enough to be a major concern). The hanging system is nice too. I would recommend to friends.
Edit: This does the job but I miss the power of the Bum Genius.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed with the short life span of this diaper sprayer.
Reviewed in Canada on October 16, 2015
When we first got the Bumkins Diaper Sprayer we loved it. It was very easy to install and easy to use. We really liked the control of the shut off value where it attaches to the toilet water source as well as the ability to turn the water on and off from the handle. However, in less than a year of careful use the cheap plastic design failed. A small crack formed in a piece around the sprayer head and it started leaking constantly. We went to all the local hardware stores to try to replace the part or the sprayer nozzle but we could not get the part and other sprayers nozzles are not compatible with this brand. We are currently in the process of trying to deal with Bumkins to get some sort of resolution but I am not hopeful since it is past the 30 day warranty period. I would not recommend this product to others. If I could do it again I would make sure I was purchasing a sprayer that was made of metal and therefore more durable.

3.0 out of 5 stars Low quality materials but works!
Reviewed in Canada on May 10, 2019
It works great, but you can tell that it's not made of quality materials, and it drips after use like crazy. I just make sure to shake it out a bit before putting away, so it's not a deal breaker, but still. Install was easy though!
