Great purchase.
5 Stars
Great purchase.
The order came in a timely manner. The watch is what I expected and is easy to put on because of the latch on the watch. I did have to take it to a jeweler to have a couple of links removed. I love the numbers and it has the day and and date which comes in handy. It’s easy to change the day and date, just read the information on it. The face of the watch isn’t so big for my wrist.

I am thrilled with this watch. The gold and brushed stainless metal means it goes with everything, whether gold or silver jewelry. The size of the face, the numbers, and black hands mean it is very easy to see the time, yet it is still small enough that it is obviously a woman's watch. And the month, day feature is something I love. What a bonus that it is solar powered! No batteries to fool with, although at some point it will need to have a solar battery replaced when it no longer holds a charge. I have no idea how long that will be, but I suspect years.

If you plan on getting this to give as a gift, let me clue you in on a couple of things. Since this is solar, it will not operate when first unwrapped unless you do a little prep. The watch should be set inside in the sun for 5-6 hours to get completely charged. I made the mistake of just charging mine a minimal amount and almost returned it because it was losing time. Then I charged it fully--the 5-6 hour charge is really a necessity for accurate operation. You also need to follow the instructions to set it correctly. Do these things and then wrap it up Christmas Eve and you will be good to go for a fully functional gift. It may still need to be sized as the band is a bit long. Go ahead and fork over the cash to have a jeweler do that. This is a beautiful watch and you don't want to mess it up by having an amateur mess with the links.

I love this watch and highly recommend it to others.

The watch itself is a great Size- not too small, not too big. Very easy to see and read the the numbers. I love that it's solar powered and will never need a battery. Just need some sunlight- whether natural or from a light source- to keep this running! So that's a great cost saving over time and keeps the hassle down from a regular watch where you have to buy and replace batteries. The price was incredible for a name brand like Seiko as well! I highly recommend this product and it would make a great gift as well!

I just love this watch and like it better than any watch I've had yet including some very expensive ones. I have difficulty reading the date on an older watch I have. On this one, I can read the Day & Date clearly. It's comfortable and classy looking, in my opinion. I did have to take it to a jewelry store to have 6 links removed. They did it in 5 minutes and charged $7. It was quite large when I received it. It's the kind that is a complete loop that you close up and catch. It's shown clearly in the picture. It's easy to put on and unlikely to get dropped in the process.

I'm not a total dinosaur.... I know most younger folks look at their phone for the time and that works fine if you constantly have the phone in your hand. I don't. Mine is usually in a pocket or purse. Glancing at my watch is much easier than hauling out my phone.

I leave it on my dresser when not wearing it. I've had no issues with running out of power, but mine is receiving light all day long and well into the evening.

I almost love it, and it is what I expected. I think it is prettier than the photo shows. I wish it were available with atomic clock synchronization feature, as well as solar. I was really looking for an affordable (under $150.00) women's atomic solar watch, with more or less the appearance of this one. Not clunky resin or plastic. I could not find one. The only one I found is no longer being manufactured.

I do not need the day/date freature, and the date is too small for me to read anyway. Maybe after I get new glasses. I did manage to set it. Just keep turning till the calendar turns enough days to match the date, and then choose the day of the week. Days are in English and Spanish. If they are going to use a language other than English, I wish it were French.

All those are minor negatives, and too insignificant to lower the rating.

The bracelet is HUGE! I knew I'd have to have links removed, and our local jeweler did the job in a few minutes. We probably could have done it ourselves, but were afraid of wrecking something.

I like it so far; I've only had it about a week. I have large wrists, and the bracelet fits nicely. I was expecting to have to order extra links from Seiko. The dial is easy to read, and I like having a second hand. The day and date were not critical to my choice, but this is easy to set, and can be handy. I carry a smart phone these days, and many of my friends can't figure out why I still wanted a watch when my 20-year favorite died; but I don't likek having to haul my phone out every time I want to glance at the time. I think I would have preferred a single color watch rather than the two-tone, but there weren't any styles that I liked, and this isn't awful. The pattern is subtle enough not to be distracting. This is a good size. I had ordered another watch and it was enormous; I'm clearly out of style. It was beautiful, but for me needed t be 1/3-1/2 that size; which this Seiko is. I am pleased with it so far; time will tell if it holds up and is reliable. My previous watch one one of the earliest solar-powered ones, and I am sold on them because of it. If this watch holds up over time, I will be pleased, indeed.

Love this watch. Have had a similar one in the past but lost it on vacation so was glad to replace it. The only negative is the watch band is meant for someone with at least a med/lg wrist so I need to have it sized. I have not tested its resistance to water but I find it easy to read and am enjoying it as a gift!

I had to get a few of the links taken out but now the watch fits perfectly on my smaller wrist. Love the look of it. I only wish it had the light feature that my old Timex has which enables me to see the time in the dark. Other than that, it's a really nice timepiece.

Received promptly and undamaged. My family had bought me a watch just like this brand and I really like it. (no winding and almost automatic) so I got this watch for my wife this Christmas as a gift. She really likes the open face with the numbers which is easier for her to read. She has trouble seeing the smaller faced watch she has w/o numbers. This one is both stylish and functional for her. the only con is that it does not light up in the dark otherwise she really likes it and appreciates the gift. We have to take it in to remove a couple of links but other than that all is good.

Realmente no tienen garantía.

I bought this item for mother's day for my 87-year-old mom, who is partially blind. She can easily see the numbers to tell the time, although the date function is a bit small for her. She loves the watch. It's surprisingly delicate and elegant. Very feminine.

Good looking watch and a very small dial. Looks big in pictures. Have to charge it occasionally when not used by leaving it on window. If you don't, the second hand skips indicating low battery.
