Been using this for a few weeks now. No complaints, works as described. Folds up smoothly - doesn't crash to the ground or get sticky joints. Smaller than I expected once folded, which is a great plus. Fits a lot of clothes and towels. Very light but sturdy.

Construction has a nice smooth feel - sometimes good and sometimes bad, like when I have something that keeps sliding off. I fix that by pinning some things on. Downside is that if I store this folded somewhere on tile where it could fall over, it's really loud once it hits the ground. Startled the dog and roommates pretty bad a few times.

Great little rack for small spaces - easy to set up

This rack is narrower than I thought it would be but as it turns out that’s ok. We have a small lanai and our old wooden dowel rack took up a lot of room - and warped easily in our humid island weather. This rack actually holds a lot because of the rods across the top that create a flat surface. I use that piece for my water aerobics shoes and weights which leaves plenty of room on the rods to hang my swimsuit, towel and rash guard. Even a little room leftover for another suit and towel. And it is very unobtrusive on our lanai.

The other thing I really like about this rack is that it was set up in 1 minute - all you have to do is lift it and attach the top rack to the top rod. The wood racks take forever as you have to insert each rod - this one was 99% assembled out of the box. Too early to tell if it is really “rust proof” but the coating seems high quality.

Now the con: It's small; when I say small I mean it is not wide at all. You can't even dry a woman's medium tee on it without it because even the narrow way - the shirt will not have enough room to lay flat. The pic is deceiving.

I gave this 3 stars instead of 2 because I can think of a couple of perfect uses for it:
1. For a petite woman living in an apartment - perfect for her to hang her undies, lacy garments (that's not to say it won't handle something heavier; it's just not that wide), wash clothes, hand towels; and
2. For a pool area to hang swimsuits to dry.
For these two purposes this item will be perfect.
