This is a great product, it's quick and easy to hang and doesn't take up much space to store. I find the straps very comfortable, they feel like felt on my triceps. They do hang high which gives you plenty leg room but may need a stool or kettlebell to stand on in order to get into position. Most importantly they are effective. For me they provide more stability than just grabbing the bar, so there is less body swing. I find them most effective with leg raises rather than knee raises. The price was excellent too. If I had to pick a flaw it would be that the carabiner is a little rough where it clasps but is unnoticeable when closed. I was skeptical about the "as seen on tv" brand but they came through with this product.

I figured from the pictures on the box that if I bought these things, I'd be ripped in no time, just like the people on the package. My townhouse came with a really nice pull-up bar, so I figured these would be a great addition, especially since the price was great. Installing them was a breeze, but that's where the positive experience ended. . . . . How do I get into these things? I mean, I can do three pull-ups, so I should be able to do one and get my arms in these. . . . . not the case. My three and eleven year old got to watch "Superdad" hang these things up and then flop around like a fish on a hook out of water trying to get into them. My three year old quickly quit asking to try them and walked away. My eleven year old stuck around to see if I could pull it off, which I did, but then said "good job dad" in the most non-convincing way when the struggle was so hard to get into these that I couldn't do anything but wonder how I'd get down.

In all, if you can do enough pull-ups to call it a rep, and you a stomach that shows potential of being able to wash clothes on it, these bad boys are a great deal. As for me, I'll let them hang there till I can get that rep thing down.

You can hit so many angles of your abs more comfortably than floor ab exercises

I got these after assembling a garage gym. I purchased a Power Rack with Lat Pull Attachment which has a pull up bar attached, hangs maybe 7 + feet off the ground. Im 39 years old .6'3" so I don't need a step to use the straps. I have never done hanging ab exercises because I always felt rushed at the gym, and many if no gyms have ab straps either. After using these for only a few weeks I can definitely tell the difference in strength and stomach tone. You can hit so many angles of your abs more comfortably than floor ab exercises, and using your own body weight for resistance definitely adds to the experience. Note: I am currently 290 lbs and these straps hold me comfortably for extended periods of time. The padding is comfortable, I thought being 290 lbs and using these I would be in for some discomfort but I have zero complaints about the padding. If your arms are long enough you can also partly hang with these straps and at the same time hold on to a bar with your hands to work on your arm strength a little.

Great price and from a brand I trust (I own several other Perfect gym items). I was initially surprised at how short they were compared to the picture on the box (they are fixed length). I use them on my squat rack, so, being 5'6, I do have to use a stool for setup, but after I'm in position, they are great. Removing the palm stress from hanging from my hands, I can now really focus on my abs like I couldn't before with high-rep crunches and raises. I'm currently 190lbs and they support me fine; the fabric is sturdy. I expect to get a lot of use out of these. Would recommend, though for us shorties, you may need a foot stool for lift-off.

These ab straps work perfect on my squat rack pull up bar. Ive only had them for a day but as a personal trainer I know a thing or two about exercise equipment and these will work just fine. No need to spend a ton of money. I looped the stap around my bar twice in order to shorten the straps so i could hang onto the pull up bar at the same time. I can easily hang from my pull up bar for up to 2 minutes but the straps help boost me up to where my feet dont touch the ground when they are straight allowing me to get a better abdominal exercise. And as for people saying the straps dig into them.... It will probably help looping it around twice and holding onto the bar too. Less pressure in one area. Also youll get used to it just like the bar used to hurt your shoulders when squatting back in the day. Id definetely recommend these straps because hanging leg raises are one of the best ab exercises you can do.
