I just purchased the EO diffuser... I am amazed that the amt of vapor it puts out. I don't know what I was expecting but as for right off the bat is is working great, even smelling it a bit down the hall from the bedroon, I am using as a recomendation from a friend that mentioned this whole diffuser thing on FB that she uses it to keep her family practically healthy during the school yr... she has 2 boys. She uses Plant Therapy Germ Fighter which I ordered along with a calming one called Good Night Blend. Ok concerning the set up... easy as can be plug in the adapter to the bottom of the base, add water to the fill line very easy to see.... added the drops of oil I added 5 drops of the germ fighter and 5 drops of the claming one...( I must say the germ fighter is all i smell only because it I think is stronger .... at night I think I will try the Good night blend alone and see the smell of it.) then I turned it on (press the button ) ... DON'T DO THAT !!!! PUT THE DOME ON FIRST... the water starting popping or bubbling or spewing up and out a bit (not alot) but it was getting on the base so I turned it off and then put the dome on and turned it back on. It is very quiet I think I can barely hear the water pumping up ( or whatever it does) ... there is vapor like crazy coming out. I did not think I would care about the lights but they are kinda think they are neat. And YES
you can shut if off if you don't want them on. It is putting out alot of aroma.. and I pray it continues to work... some ppl have commented there's quit... but it does say in the directions how often to clean it... the directions also give different combos of oils to use for various things...Side note about the oil ( Germ Fighter): I have bought Youngs EO years ago and their Thieves smells just like this.... for a fraction of the price. I am VERY pleased
thus far with the product and I will do my best to properly maintain for a long life in our home!

After using over night, I find that the button that you press to turn on is kinda bright enough that it lights up the room a tad..not horrible but a littel. if you like light in your room it will work fine but I like darkness so that is downer. I plan to try putting it in the bathroom tonight and see if that works better.... It is very easy to clean takes literally a few moments...
I hope it will last, many ppl had issues with them breaking... maybe they did not keep it clean. .... anyway I love it and the only thing is the light at night in our room....

I was looking for something similar to what the doTERRA company sells, but cheaper. The diffuser I had seen at a friends house shot out a more powerful jet of cool mist and oils. This one is much more similar to a regular cool mist humidifier, sending the mist about 6 inches or less into the air. It does fill one large sized room, but I was hoping to find a diffuser to spread my essential oils through my whole (very small) house. This doesn't quite do the job. It certainly spreads the oils into the air, and works well in a room, but I don't want to have to keep moving it around the house to saturate the air in all the rooms. UPDATE: I actually compared my diffuser side-by-side with the doTERRA model, and it blows the steam almost as far. Only about a 2 inch difference.

RATING UPDATE: After 2 months this has completely stopped working. I didn't realize that it was supposed to shut off after it ran out of water. I wasn't worried because it would just be warm when I found it empty. It never shut itself off when it ran out. The lights would be off, but it would still be warm, and if you added more water, it would start bubbling again. Now it doesn't work for more than one minute. At first I thought my kids were messing with it, and kept shutting it off. But it turns out it was just shutting off on it's own. I started noticing a problem where it would shut off every 30 minutes or so. Over the course of the next two weeks the time got shorter and shorter, 10 minutes, 5 minutes, 3 minutes, etc. Now it usually just runs for a few seconds and quits.

I have tried to find a way to contact the company for a refund or replacement, but I can't figure it out.

When I got this diffuser, I was excited about it. It was a pretty good price from what I know about just shopping around online. I am new to essential oils and diffusing them, so I wanted to buy an inexpensive model to get started before I commit to buying a $100+ model for a bigger space. (And I have to save up, that's a big investment for me!) I chose this one because the reviews were mostly positive for a diffuser under $50. I read all the directions that came with it and followed them perfectly. I turned it on, diffusing 4 drops of Frankincense and it began diffusing nicely. I could smell the oil, the mist was fine and cool. About 30 minutes after I had turned it on, I noticed that the light was off and it wasn't diffusing any more. The directions say that it will auto shut off when the water gets down to a certain level. I checked the water level, and it was almost completely full. Turned it back on and it started diffusing again. I noticed this problem throughout the first day of use: about every 30 minutes or so, I would notice that it had turned itself off again. Rather than immediately return it to Amazon, I decided to try the customer service number. I was connected with a real person after a few minutes on hold. I explained the problem. The customer service rep told me that it will run "UP TO 8 hours, but it should definitely diffuse for at least 3." She said that she would send me a new one. I asked if I should send my current unit back to them. She said no, just keep it and dispose of it when your new one gets there. I was overall very pleased with the customer service experience. Hopefully my new one will come soon. I'm planning on keeping this defective one around. It's fine as long as I'm sitting right next to it to turn it back on whenever it shuts down. So besides my unit being defective, here are the pros and cons.
Pros:
It's almost silent and pretty compact.
The lights rotate showing really pretty colors. I like that I can stop on my favorite one or turn the lights off.
It is easy to set up and seems like it will be easy to clean, though I haven't done it yet.
The shape of it makes it hard to tip over, which is important when you have little kids like I do.
Customer service was helpful and very reasonable.

Cons: It's small size makes it not very powerful. It would be great for a small office or bedroom, but I have an apartment with a very open floor plan. If you need to diffuse for a big room, I would recommend getting something bigger and more powerful.
As others have said, the power light stays on if it's running, and the power light is pretty bright. It might bug you if you are diffusing at night and you want your room pitch black.

My star rating is for my specific (defective) unit. If and when I get a new one, I will update my rating.

***UPDATE***
My new unit came in a few weeks. When it got here though, I didn't even take it out of the packaging because I had gotten my original unit to work. I cleaned it as per the directions using 1oz water and 1oz white vinegar. I let the mixture sit in the diffuser for about 20 minutes, then wiped it out with a Q-tip, focusing on the white disc in the center. After a few cycles of diffusing and cleaning, it worked its way up to diffusing several hours. I haven't timed how long it works now, but it diffuses at least 5 straight hours. I'm keeping the replacement in the closet in case my original does go kaput someday. I can't use both of them at the same time because they only sent me a base , not a top, and it won't work without the top. I changed my original rating from 3 to 5 stars. I've been recommending this diffuser to everyone who asks me (I now am a product consultant for doTERRA).

Llevo dos días usando el producto, y creo que cumple con su cometido, difunde los aceites esenciales mediante un humidificador. Capaz de llenar de olor una habitación de aproximadamente 3x3 metros cuadrados, e incluso llegando a alcanzar otras habitaciones. Lo recomendaría para habitaciones medianas.
El aroma alcanza a durar por 4 horas al aplicar aproximadamente 6 gotas de aceite diluidas en agua. El agua puede durar más, pero el olor se va atenuando, habrá que probar con otras esencias de distintas marcas.

Very classy looking diffuser! Works very well and is indeed extremely silent! It is an imported product but it comes with a universal adaptor and hence convenient to use in India too!
The changing colours look quite cool as the oils diffuser! As stated in the manual, the machine auto shuts off when the oils get over, which is great!
I would the product is priced just a little bit high. Maybe over priced by Rs. 500 but since we do not usually get this kind of product easily available, it is worth it!
