Attracts, Traps, and Kills Flying Insects Indoors

Designed for small areas up to 300 square feet, this indoor trap quickly rids your living space of flying insects, including mosquitoes, biting flies, Asian beetles, stink bugs, and more. A fluorescent UV bulb emits a warm blue light that attracts insects, while a titanium dioxide-coated surface acts as a second lure by producing carbon dioxide that’s irresistible to mosquitoes. Finally, the trap's powerful vacuum fan quietly captures insects in the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die within 24 hours.

Powerful, Whisper-Quiet Operation

Thanks to its ultra-quiet fan, this trap pulls insects into its screened base without zapping or buzzing. This makes it an ideal solution for ridding your pantry, patio, or screened-in porch of pesky flying insects. This travel-sized indoor mosquito trap requires no attractant or propane to operate. To clean, turn the unit off and remove the retaining cage on the bottom to dispose of insects. The trap’s twist-to-close feature ensures that any insects still alive in the retaining cage will not escape when the trap is turned off. The UV bulb is rated for 20,000 hours and is not replaceable.

Lightweight, Portable Design

Weighing less than 2 pounds, this ultra-light indoor insect trap can be moved anywhere you need it. It should only be used in a covered, protected area like a garage, screened-in porch, or four-seasons room. It plugs into any 110-volt outlet or extension cord. The trap measures 4.72 by 4.72 by 10.32 inches and weighs 1.8 pounds.

Product Description

The DynaTrap UltraLight Mosquito and Insect Trap makes trapping flying pest insects, such as mosquitoes, black flies, Asian lady beetles, moths, gnats, and no-see-ums, both simple and effective. Its lightweight design makes it easy to place anywhere, even if you’re traveling. This unit is engineered to protect your indoor space with 3-way protection. First, a UV fluorescent bulb generates a warm light, attracting insects. Then a second lure, an exclusive Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surface, produces CO2 that's irresistible to mosquitoes. Third, a vacuum fan sucks insects into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die. Each DynaTrap UltraLight Insect Trap was designed for easy use. This trap is an ideal choice for homes with kids and pets. Loud zapping noises will never be a problem with the whisper quiet fan. Each unit is backed by a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Solved my indoor RV fly problem!
5 Stars
Solved my indoor RV fly problem!
O…M….G… I have been plagued with flies coming inside this season due to the early heat I supposed. I’ve never experienced such a fly problem in my life. I have tried every type of fly shatter imaginable, but they all break as I probably kill 100 flies per day which equates to 500 swats as I’m not very good at it. I also bought some of those sticky things to set on the counter and around the house to catch them and catch them they did, but didn’t put a dent into the problem. Then I received this little gem.I thought it wouldn’t work worth a flip as it is tiny and the suction didn’t seem all that much. I doubted it would catch as many flies as the stickie things, but I set it up because any fly it catches is one less I have to swat. The instructions say to NOT put it by a competing light source, but I did. I placed it right beside my little Aerogarden that sets on my counter. I placed it so the top of the fly catcher’s light would be about even with the light on the Aerogarden because I can’t live without my Aerogarden and that is where the majority of the flies congregate because of the light. It is also hanging close to the door and many flies that come in the door go straight to the fly catcher and get eaten immediately. It was stunning. The flies flying under my Aerogarden light just zipped right over to the flycatcher and got sucked in immediately. Just zip… zip… zip… and they were gone. Although I just saw it catch about 30 flies in a few minutes, I still had no expectations of it completely eliminating my fly problem. It’s been a week now and I have yet to have to swat a single fly. Flies do still fly into the RV we are living in for the summer, but after just a bit, they go to my Aerogarden and then they fairly quickly checkout the light on the bug catcher and ZIP! They’re gone. It also got rid of all the fruit flies that were coming up out of my sink drain. We’re having an insane mosquito season due to the extreme TX heat, but I haven’t had a single one come inside and bite me. I assume SOME have had to come inside when we go in and out of the door often. If so, the bug eater got them as nobody has been bitten inside the RV.We are in love with this little darling and ecstatic that we purchased it and ended our fly problem. I intended to buy more of them if it worked fairly well, but it has been unnecessary as this single one is getting them all. I highly recommend this baby if you have an RV. I assume it would work well in a home as well and intend to try it there when we return.

4.0 out of 5 stars The DT150 worked well for us
Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2022
We have screened doors and windows, but during the summer we still get occasional flys, moths, etc. in the house. This year our area experienced a rash of (Aedes Aegypti) mosquitos and enough started getting inside to be a real annoyance.

So I bought a DynaTrap DT150 as a test, then five more to distribute through the house. They did a great job of catching a wide variety of flying creatures. We still had the occasional mosquito that refused to be trapped, so we thought that maybe the traps were not working — but when I emptied them out at the end of the summer I found a satisfyingly large number of mosquitos.

I tried a couple of different mosquito attracting packets, and it seems like the Atrakta product did the best. But I can't really be sure that it was all that helpful. Maybe I'll do some experiments next summer.

The fan is quiet, though quite noticeable in a quiet room, but is a low frequency so not annoying.

The product is thoughtfully designed, with a number of small but convenient details that make it very easy to use. It is also well made, and looks like it will last.

Attached is a picture of the summer's catch from 5 traps. Note that our house lets very few flying bugs in, and also that being all clumped together you don't clearly see how many bugs there really are.

I'm looking forward to trying them again next summer, and will be very interested to see how they do with pantry and closet moths.
