Customers are mixed about the sturdiness of the tent. Some mention that it's fairly rugged, and stands up to the wind without any problems. The polyethylene floor is tough and looks pretty solid. 219 customers mention118 positive101 negative

Customers are mixed about the leakage of the tent. Some mention that there were no leaks at all, the rain fly seams are nicely sealed, and not a seam opened. However, others say that they are up to 1/3 cup of water leaks, the tent leaked in 5 places during an overnight downpour, and there was light leaking around the seams and edges.

"...showers on our second day in the tent... All stayed dry inside - no leaks... I'm sure at some point we'll see how it holds up in a T-storm...." Read more

"...On the tent I received it was not seal-able and if I didn't know enough about camping to trench around the base is there isn't one there I would be..." Read more

"...The rain fly seams are, however, sealed nicely, which should theoretically be all you need...." Read more

"...points (it felt wet in these areas), then I noticed that the fly itself started to seep through the fabric in several areas...." Read more

203 customers mention30 positive173 negative

Customers have negative opinions about the zipper of the tent. They mention that it's hard to close at the top due to the rain fly poles stretching the zipper. They also say that the zippers tend to hang up at the midpoint of the door. Customers also mention that the seams of the zipper tend to separate, making it difficult to zip the door and the inner roof windows cannot be closed.

"...I do see that a zipper at the door was under tension and could wear out earlier than expected- but time will tell!Overall great roomy tent." Read more

"...The windows on the sides also do not seal so again, wind could blow rain up and inside...." Read more

"...The zipper on the door started sticking the first year or two so we just used the other zipper and were careful when opening the fly for the past..." Read more

"...For the people that complain about getting wet and zippers not working, you either didn't setup the tent well enough or you have a lemon...." Read more

Tons of room.... Bag too small.. Buying a duffle
The first off the tents great so far I've only got to use it one weekend which had a little bit of rain nothing torrential but we stay dry anyways. I guess I didn't really take any pictures of the tent up just of us putting it together and us was me and my 9 year old son and it was at night. As a guy we tend not to look at instructions unless we absolutely need to but for me I just like the puzzle part, the challenge of putting it together without using instructions. But it's a tent so it shouldn't be that hard and this one wasn't. There's only a couple of poles that you need to use for the main structure and the two side support but they're all different colors so it's easy to separate what is what. The only thing I had trouble with was the rain fly and for that I looked at the picture and found that you can use the Coleman logo as an orientation marker but after that we got it straightened out. So the tent inside is pretty nice I would definitely recommend putting a tarp underneath the tent and probably inside just to maintain the longevity, but that goes for any I would assume. There is tons of space just as everyone else's explained. I had two twin air mattresses and a queen that weren't aligned very well and we still had space for all of our clothes and anything else we wanted to keep dry. The only downside I would say is not having like a front porch kind of area to take your wet/dirty stuff off and leave it outside but covered from the element.... But that's a whole other thing. I did get some seam spray to put on like other suggested to really lock in the water blockage. It had a decent amount of pockets I guess it's standard set but a couple more would be nice just for a little things that you want to keep off the ground and have a quick access point. We use the top hammock style mesh holder for an LED lamp and it has a ring that you could probably attach a fan or different kind of light if you needed. My only complaint and why I can't give five stars is that this is a big tent, which is what I wanted, but trying to roll this thing up and get it back in that tiny bag they send was nearly impossible. The bag doesn't have much Flex or room for error so you have to be an origami Master it seems to get this thing back in properly. Basically I'm going to buy a duffel bag and put the tent and all the crap in there so I don't have to worry about how I fold it just that I can roll it up and put it in something. No worries I'll use that bag for some other camping gear because the bags pretty solid but again the bag of solid it doesn't Flex so you got to smash this thing in there and zip it without getting the tent stuck in the zipper.

Bought this in November ready for camping this year. Put this up for the first time, wasn't too bad putting up but definitely better with 2 people.

Nice and spacious but flimsy. Struggled with a little wind, pegs kept coming out of the ground etc.

Set up on a slight slope, woke up in the middle of the night and there are little pools of water from the rain. Runs in from the seams along the bottom. Not impressed at all.

Awesome tent! We took this tent on its maiden voyage this past long weekend and it exceeded our expectations. Very easy to set up for its size, although you will want at least 2 people involved. It uses the same pole and clip system of the smaller Coleman dome tents. Takedown was also simple and a one-woman job for us. We originally got this tent because we wanted enough room for our queen air mattress plus our toddler's pack n play--it easily fit both of these things and we had tons of extra space on all sides. I probably wouldn't put 8 people in this tent but 6 would fit comfortably, no problem. The room dividers are a neat feature although the resulting "rooms" are quite small and would only be comfy for kids. All in all, excellent quality and a great value. A++ would buy again.
