Electrical Hazard (Safety Toe). Identifies secondary protection against incidental contact with electrical circuits of 18,000 volts or less under dry conditions. Safety Toe EH styles meet ASTM F2413-18 EH standards.

Insulation (400gm 3M Thinsulate) These shoes are designed to keep your feet warm in most types of cold conditions. 3M Thinsulate is a microfiber that insulates boots by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. 400 grams is used for cold conditions or moderate activity levels.

Storm Defender Waterproof Breathable Protection. These shoes are designed to be completely waterproof and to keep your feet dry in most types of wet conditions. A waterproof and breathable membrane is used to keep your feet dry but promote air flow and circulation.

Cushion Comfort Insole. Carhartt PU with Foam cushion insole provides comfortable support and reduces foot fatigue.

Carhartt developed Rugged Flex work boots for hard working men and women who demand extreme levels of comfort, durability and safety. Storm Defender Waterproof Breathable Protection is designed to be completely waterproof and to keep your feet dry in most types of wet conditions with a waterproof and breathable membrane. FastDry Technology Lining wicks away sweat for comfort and the Carhartt PU with Foam cushion insole provides comfortable support and reduces foot fatigue. An EVA midsole with PU strobel pad provide extra layers of cushioned comfort. The Carhartt rubber Rugged Flex outsole is cement constructed. If you can't quit, YOUR BOOTS CAN'T EITHER.

Poor quality leather. Cracked and broke in less than a year and now have holes on either sides of the boots. Right through all layers beneath as well. Not the longevity expected from a $150+ pair of "work" boots. Comfortable boots and soles wore well. But terrible quality leather.

I got these for my husband, we have had a hard time finding boots that can stand up to all the walking he does, he has not stopped raving about how awesome they are! Whether he’s going up ladders or digging in the mud his feet are completely dry and very warm, however he says he will only be able to wear them in the winter they will be Way too warm for the summer hopefully they will come out with a less insulated boots! Will definitely buy again!

Very disappointed. Have been wearing the Carharrt PAC 10 inch boots and love them. Bought these based on my current and previous experience with Carharrt. The foot bed in these, are hard like cheap boots. Only padding is what you add. The original inner soles aren't the greatest. No loop at the back to make putting them on easier. The shoe lace grabber and D-day rings that are on other Carharrt boots (and many cheaper brands) are not present on this version. Initial impression and after a few days of wearing them, I can find nothing to really justify Rhett highest price, other than a brand label.
