This is an excellent hose -- lightweight, strong, and easy-to-put away after use. I especially like the idea that the hose supposedly delivers clean, drink-safe quality of water which all the other hoses I've owned never did. The water that comes through this hose is absolutely odor free and is free of even the slightest chemical taste. The drawbacks I'm experiencing is from kinking when I turn on the water faucet and the water travels to the opening end of the hose. It's a bit of an inconvenience to walk back to the 3-4 places where it kinks to undo them. Once this is done however, the hose resists any kinks even if I try to intentionally cause a kink by twisting the hose. Another feature I wish the manufacturer would improve on are the end pieces of the hose. They are made of plastic-like material like the hose itself and feel cheap and not durable, especially the way they are clamped onto the hose with a blue plastic neck collar. This construction makes me wonder how I would repair/replace either or both ends if they need to be repaired. However, these pieces may prove to be durable and make my concern unnecessary. In all, I really like this hose and highly recommend it to anyone who is even slightly concerned with a his/her hose delivering unsafe, undrinkable water.

Hose end cannot support a watering wand - it will fold down and shut off the flow of water at the connection. Also, despite the advertisement, this hose DOES kink. We used it on our large deck and every corner we went around it would kink - very frustrating. Lastly, when you shut it off you need to go through a "draining procedure" which is very water wasteful. Not good if you live here in CA!!

I was very excited to get this hose for our boat because it takes very little space when rolled up flat. I used it successfully for two years although it did turn yellow after the first year. We only used it a half dozen times each year. After just over two years it was sittng there with the water turned on when I went in for lunch and it started leaking right in the middle of the hose along what would be an edge when not pressurized..

I contacted Amazon since it comes with a 10 year warranty/guaranty and they pointed me at the manufacturers web page that descibes how to get warranty/guaranty sypport. I followed the directions and contacted the manufacturer through the link on Amazon. It is now almost two weeks and I have not heard back. Be careful assuming you are getting an expensive hose that the manufacturer will support. I can no longer use the product.

Updated 8/15...its been three months and a couple of emails and still not heard back from the company! Based on the many poor reviews and many many people not getting warranty support I would think long and hard before purchasing this product.

Getting more and more used to it. I love the fact your not toting a big hose around anymore. Sometime it can be a bit of a hassle when you turn on the water and get all the kinks out of it. But this is minor and you get better at handling it over time. The best part is when your done using it. I have the 75 ft. and I coil this thing up by hand and put it in a Home Depot bucket in about two minutes or less. Very light too. I also like that it's clear. Doesn't look like an eyesore and is certainly not bulky. The fittings are tight and don't leak. Overall happy and impressed with this new hose invention. Definitely will make using your garden hose more of a joy and not a hassle or chore. Mostly just make life a little easier if you work with a water hose! Washing my car is MUCH easier now! I had the cheap Suncast plastic water powered crank with a 125 FT. hose in it. Didn't last long, and a real pain in the ass taking it out. No more big bulky cheap plastic box with a heavy hose. Yes, I do like this hose and recommend it especially for anyone elderly as well. I will end up getting one for my dad who is 80 and still loves working in his yard.
