The 20V MAX* XR Brushless 1-inch Rotary Hammer is a high-performance drill powered by a brushless motor and a durable German-engineered mechanism, delivering 2.1 Joules of impact energy. The lightweight design makes this tool ideal for rod hanging, seismic and safety attachments, cable tray and strut mounting, clamp mounting, and rail mounting. DEWALT cordless hammer drill is part of the PERFORM and PROTECT product line, integrated with the SHOCKS ACTIVE VIBRATION CONTROL System and becomes OSHA Table 1 Compliant when used with the DWH303DH On Board Extractor.

I do a lot of small projects so the versatility of tools from Dewalt makes it easier and the fact that I only have to carry 1 or 2 batteries to operate 4 0r 5 different tools at a time saves me time and trips carrying tools from project to office and the fact that I don't have to worry about having electricity helps. The charging unit recharges my batteries fairly quickly and last a long time . I still have batteries that was purchased in 2021 that still hold a great charge

Its got some nice heft to it! I was so happy when this arrived. I tested out the chipping function for a laugh and it cracked a brick in half in two in seconds. lol Im sure a hammer would do the trick just as fast for slitting a brick but I can imagine that will come in handy for demolition type projects or trying to break around a drainage/water pipe encased in concrete in the basement etc
The hammer drill function worked great for drilling holes for some anchors.
Such a great product. Ive only used it for a brief moment or two but I can tell this is a quality product for sure.
