One of the metal pieces was bent on the inside and we had to bend it back in order to fit everything together properly. The velcro straps on the inside are a little difficult to figure out how they are meant to be used (but you basically just wrap them around the poles that hold it up), and this came with literally no instructions.
The biggest problem I have with this product is the fact that the red dye from the floor rubs off. I'm not sure how I'm going to clean this to get all that crap off, but it has come off onto my kids clothing, and now I don't know that it'll wash out. It's really annoying. I can't even let my kids use this until after I clean it, but the upside is that they really did love it. It's a cheap buy, but it's also cheap, so keep that in mind.
He loves it and was so excited when he opened the box and saw the picture on the tent bag! It came out of the bag in perfect condition.
It went together easily, although the poles weren't obviously color coded like they were with the pink one. The instructions were not very helpful in either kit, but the tents are easy enough to put up without them.
The four stars for sturdiness are because they can get shifted sideways pretty easily just from the weight of a blanket, so definitely need to keep them away from heat sources to avoid melting the fabric. That's not a negative against this product, it's just the nature of tents in general. Despite spending days slouched over from blanket weight, the pink one springs back up with no trouble, so five stars on the durability.
Overall very happy with both purchases.

The setup does not come with instructions but the poles are attached by string and all the same size so assembly isn't too hard. We had one person hold the tent up while the other went in and put in the poles. The poles are exposed and unfortunately easy for kids to grab. Ours came with some straps halfway up the tent to tie the poles into place, could be knotted to avoid kids untying but would make taking it down harder.
The door has two small velcro squares in the corners and the windows have mesh which doesn't allow bugs in but the door doesnt close 100% since it only has the two velcro spots.
The little grey squares at the top of the castle that stick up in the sample picture do not stick up in real life they fall over limp, but 2 year olds don't care haha.
The fabric itself is good and the colour is good although a sharp airplane toy propellor pierced the bottom a little and concerns us on the mesh, which actually held up when hit against. Some of the stitching however could be better, the seams of the door came already ripping same with some of the seams where the tent poles go in.
Overall the kid loved it and wanted to sleep in it although I wish it had a third window in the back to see him more easily from that angle. It does get hot in the tent, especially with the door closed so be careful when out in the sun.
I am 5 foot 4 inches as mentioned before and the top of the castle when set up reaches the height of my underarm.
