Loooove this silky, comfy, cold but not too cold, just enough pressure to comfort and keep out the light, amazing eye mask.
I'm a huge eye mask snob since I often have hypersensitivity to light due to migraines. This makes me feel like my headache is melting away & I'm on my way to a great day at the spa.
Seriously, this is the best, most comfortable, well made cooling eye mask I've ever used. Recommend to anyone who gets migraines, hangovers, optical hypersensitivity to light, puffy eyes, or even who just likes to kick back & rest your eyes after a long day. It's addicting!
PS: I would not recommend this as a sleeping mask. It's filled with cooling gel beads & is meant to be kept in the fridge or freezer (it won't freeze, it just gets colder like vodka would). If you're looking for just a plain old eye mask for sleeping I would recommend the Dollar Tree, they have actually really great ones for a buck, I've spent literally twenty or 30 times that and not found a better basic sleeping mask.
Also, this would be great for travel, even if you can't keep it cold on a plane or vehicle, the extra weight of the beads & the high quality of the material will keep out annoying light much better than any of the plush ones out there. Plus you can put it in the minifridge wherever you're staying and be able to use it to reduce puffy eyes throughout the trip!
I'm getting these as gifts for all the women in my family!

MASK FIT:
The front is super soft & squishy, and it makes nice sounds when you move the beads around. The back feels kinda like velvet, it's super soft and rests really comfortably around your face. It doesn't poke or irritate your face in any way. A thing I really love is the adjustable strap. Most masks fit kinda tight around my apparently giant sized head which ends up squeezing my head and results in a headache. But with the adjustable strap the mask fits perfectly. Color is just as advertised, and it's a beautiful pastel pink.

COLD EYE MASK:
When you put it in the fridge to get it cold the mask works great. It holds the cold temperature really well. When you put it on the velvet back prevents it from getting so cold that it hurts your face. I can wear the mask for hours before I need to put it back in the fridge. It reduces the puffyness in my eyes when I have allergies, and that's all I wanted so I'm super pleased.
I haven't tried to get the mask hot, but I assume it would work the same way.

So no complaints here, only compliments. I'll update the review if anything changes.

Update: I've had it for a while now. Still works great and good quality!

Actually, I love this mask for its versatility, the cool gel and the adjustable band. I have small facial features; therefore, I would recommend that this product be made in varied sizes to fit different shaped faces. This mask is a bit too big for my face; and the strap, though adjustable, is loose for my head. The gel is awesome! It works wonders for a sinus headache. The opposite side is soft and comfy enough for sleep if you don't mind the added weight from the gel. Check the measurements of the mask against the measurements of your face prior to ordering. One size may fit all; but one size may not be comfortable for all.

In the spring…summer, winter, and fall…I have allergies, and my eyes take a beating. They get bone dry (while somehow also pouring water non-stop), bloodshot, itchy, puffy, and all around miserable. Eye drops succeed in adding intense burning. Have you ever put a mixture of Drano and ground glass in your eyes? I haven’t either but I assume the feeling is very similar. And after all that torture, my eyes are the same if not worse than before the drops.
My eye doctor suggested keeping a water bottle in the freezer and putting it on my eyes to soothe them. Works great except for having to hold an ice chunk. I found a mask I could freeze but when I would put it on, I was sure what little lubricant my eyes had would freeze into place. So I ended up putting a hand towel over my face then putting the mask on. I looked like Luke Skywalker wandering the ice planet Hoth but it worked. Then I misplaced my mask and my eyes mourned its loss.
That brings me to this mask. I liked the idea of fabric built onto the mask to keep the frozen gel from giving my pupils frostbite. Genius! The mask itself is a little large for me but I’m small featured so few things fit my face perfectly. And I experience a bit of tightness around my nose but I can ease it by rearranging the elastic strip. All I really care about is that it soothes my miserable eyes. I can’t tell you a fig about the warm option but the cold mask is fantastic.
