A guy's review - almost a perfect bag
Okay, so I want to answer the questions that I seem to hard a hard time finding decent info for from other reviews and on the product page itself. For the record I am a 5'10" dude at about 185 lbs so I had a lot of concerns about a smaller bag like this. After trying it out, here's what stands out- hopefully this is helpful to people with similar interests as I had:Color: I liked it much more than I thought I would. Went with black because frankly the other color options are abhorrent looking (except for the blue with yellow trim, which was $15 more). But it is actually a deep charcoal in person. I think it looks great.Size: As I said before: 5'10". About 185. Fairly broad shoulders. I will say that this bag looks decent and fits fine, but I DO WISH I had gone with one of Osprey's larger models. You can see in one of my pics how the bag looks when it is just sitting naturally on me - as far as looks go, I think it's not too big, not too small. But it's not the bag itself that's the problem, it's the straps. They are super narrow and very short. You can see in one of my pictures that with the bag at a comfortable position (not hitched all the way up) I have MAYBE about 5" of slack left in the strap. The chest harness has a lot of extra room, but is annoying because there is no convenient way to store the extra slack (one of the reasons I love North Face bags). The belly strap, much like the arm straps, is very small with little extra. The bag fits, but if you are someone much bigger than me, this bag will NOT work for you. Not without some serious modifications, anyways.Stuff-It pocket: This is cool. There wasn't a single shot of what it looked like inside anywhere I saw online, so I included one. You will notice that it narrows considerably at the bottom... not too big a deal for stowing a sweater or something, but don't expect anything angular like a book to sit comfortably in there.Water Bottle holders: I saw a lot of questions about this in the Q/A for the product page. To alleviate some concerns, I have some pictures of what my 1L Hydroflask looks like in the bottle holster. It fits securely, but note that it does look a tad bit ridiculous, due to how small the bag is. But bottom line is: it fits fine, though it may slightly displace things at the bottom of the bag.Laptop Sleeve: What can I say- it works fine. I saw a number of questions about what would fit inside, so I included a pic of my 15" Macbook Pro (2015 model) sitting in there snugly. You hardly feel it when it's on your back- I would say that getting a laptop and a book or something for a night class would be no problem at all. Too much more than that though, and you may find yourself pressed for space.Additional features: I am annoyed that the belly band strap doesn't detach. I thought it did for some reason but it does not, and there is no convenient way to stash it when not in use. If you are like me and hate those things dangling at your sides all the time, prepare to be annoyed. The chest strap is easily adjustable, but as I said above, I wish I could stow the slack from the extra strap when it is adjusted. Build quality is very nice- this bag isn't advertised as water resistant, but it definitely doesn't feel like it would be easily soaked. Nothing a rain cover couldn't fix, anyways.Bottom line: Great feeling, great looking bag. This bag would be PERFECT (five stars) with some very small adjustments from Osprey: more slack in the straps, detachable belly band, and somewhat thicker/higher quality straps would make this thing for me. If you are a larger person, expect issues with fit.I am taking this bag on a serious of day trips at the end of the month, and if anything in particular stands out to me, I will come back and update my review. To Osprey Marketing people: if you are reading this, PLEASE update/do your videos differently. People don't want an explanation, they want to SEE it; thus the video. If you want to see what a good video for a bag looks like, check out any of the Thule or Peak Design Amazon product videos. They show what fits where, demonstrate all the bag features, and actually SHOW them loading their bags up, item by item. Very handy, and should be the standard imo.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Hiking Pack!
Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2020
This backpack is amazing! I’ve been looking for a smaller pack that fits my 2L bladder and more for longer hikes as my 35L Nebula isn’t the best to hike with. As a pretty picky hiking gear gal, I’ve owned and tried a couple of different hydration backpacks before I settled this one. It looks great, is super comfortable, and fits quite a few things!

Build:
The build of this thing is solid. It actually has a bit of a frame on the back along with a mesh style so the backpack has great ventilation and holds a shape. I love the back because my previous hydration packs had no shape and when filled would end up slacking. This one when filled keeps its shape pretty well.

Size:
The size of this thing is deceiving! I use it as a daily pack and a hiking backpack and it fits all the stuff that I need. For hiking it’s fit a 32oz nalgene inside, a hat, a small first aid kit, baby wipes, extra socks, a shirt, and a 2L bladder filled with some room to spare!

Quality:
Compared to my Osprey Nebula backpack, I will say I was kinda worried about the quality of this backpack when I first touched it. The material feels a little thinner than the material on my Nebula but it’s still quality. I’ve used it on a couple hikes and there’s been no rips, scratches so far. It also looks great!

There isn’t a bladder included but if you’re looking for a smaller pack that is durable, looks good, and has a design that is thoughtful and comfortable I’d get this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best bag for the money!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 24, 2021
I wanted a bag for random short-ish hikes in the Welsh hills. I wanted an established brand but as with everything on Amazon it’s riddled with random Chinese brands on the cheaper end.

I spotted this bag pretty soon on in the search, looked good and had a decent price at £38, but I was put off by the massive amount of reviews saying about the side pockets being crap for drinks, even some YouTube videos said the same. The only other one I wanted was the Osprey Hikelite 26 and is £60 ish so I took a punt at this cheaper one, thinking if it’s really that bad I’ll just put the drinks inside the bag.

Glad I did, the bag is perfect! The side pockets are totally fine for my use, the people with drinks falling out must be using seriously big bottles. As you can see in the pictures I’ve uploaded I had a 700ml coffee flask in one pocket and a 750ml water bottle in the other and they were completely buried in there, even a 1 litre one would’ve been okay, the bottles didn’t fall out once.

The bag’s pockets are nice and spacious, the smaller pocket has a plastic hook/loop for attaching your keys to. The whole bag seems to be made out of a durable material, the zips are high quality as well.

It’s made of a water resistant material but obviously not waterproof, would be good if it came with a waterproof cover like the Hikelite does but I just got a 2 pack off Amazon for like £8 so I’ll carry one of them just in case I get caught in some rain. This will make the bag very handy for taking mountain biking too, don’t ruin the bag with wet mud at all.

I took the waist belt/strap off because I don’t need it but the chest strap is spot on, and it can be adjusted higher and lower on the sort of rails, probably helpful if you’re a female for chest comfort. The clip also has a whistle on too. There’s also a pocket for a hydration bladder though I haven’t used this yet.

Overall very comfy bag, the back plate is rigid and supports the contents nicely and cushions the bag, had it on for a 5 hour walk the other week (where I took the pictures for this review) and it was spot on.

Very recommended!

特别喜欢老款这个颜色,包型也做的比较好看,虽然据说新款面料用的更好一些,但是那个那形状简直跟个电脑包差不多,没有一点户外气质了。
