This mower does the job and is well-built; HOWEVER, the "human engineering" is not as good as other mower manufacturers. "Human engineering" is the designing of the mower to be easily operated when using feet, hands, eyes, etc. My last tractor mower's foot pedal for speed control worked just the opposite of this Husqvarna. My old mower required no foot pressure for normal cruising while mowing large areas; and foot pressure was required only when slowing the mower's forward movement as one turned sharply or mowed along a border. This meant much less applied foot/leg pressure over the time of mowing the lawn yielding little tiredness of the right leg after mowing a sizeable lawn. Why does Husqvarna make us apply plenty of continuous leg/foot pressure. Some have a cruise control; my less expensive does not. Could have been engineered differently. I hope that engineering and design department reads this . . . . . . .

Husqvarna shows false pictures of their mowers. This tractor does not come with the larger tires and wheels shown in the picture. Also the locking differential on other mowers does not turn very tight because the locking differential want to push the mower straight forward. Mowing close around trees is not possible.
I loved the mower for the 3 1/2 years that the transmission held up. A local repair shop says they cannot repair it (after charging me $150 just to look at it) and Husqvarna is telling me to contact the transmission manufacturer, which they apparently don't know themselves. I think I'll look at other mower brands going forward.
Still new but so far solid. One thing that made it stand out ordering it on Amazon is that all the local Husqvarna dealers products become weathered, some even rusted because they leave them out in the rain. This one came with all the plastics still stuck to it, shiny and clean in every way!
Just got off my new mower, feels like a went twelve rounds with a heavy weight boxer, the seat gives very little cushion, the seat back hits you right in the kidneys, I can set a horse but this mower will beat you up!! if you do not have a least a ten to twelve inch foot you can not keep your foot on the forward pedal, the pressure to engage the forward pedal tires your right leg very fast , my arms are wore out from stiff steering. the lightest bump on the plastic hood and it breaks, has no business on a lawn mower, deck should come with anti scalp wheels!
