My other Keens are size 9 and fit fine. These boots have no arch support at all. With the foot bed lining in they are very snug in the fore-foot area and I would need a 1/2 size larger if I wanted to wear anything other than very thin socks. I removed the foot liner and they are roomier and I will wear thick winter socks with them. It is disappointing that Keen doesn't have any arch support in them. I had expected better from Keen. Sylvia4/11/2017 update These were purchased the beginning of Oct 2016 and have hardly been worn. They leak. I walked my dog through the wet grass and felt wetness. So I put the original inserts back in and walked around in the wet grass again to see where the water was coming in at . You can see the wetness on the right at the toe and outer side and on the left it is wet on the outer side. I can see no damage on the outside of the shoes, so I do not know how the water is getting in. Sylvia22 Apr 2017 update Today, I sent an email to the seller, per Keen's web site warranty instructions. I shall await the sellers response. Sylvia23 Apr 2017 update Unless I missed it in their email, they expect to pay for postage for defected boots for them to inspect. I have posted a photo AND others have posted photos of defected elsa WP boot.... I have already wasted $90.65 on these boots and will not waste another cent. I will certainly not buy from this company again and will let others know of my experience. SylviaShoebuy's response: "Thank you for contacting Shoebuy! We regret that you are having trouble with your order. If you wish to send the Keen back to us we are very happy to review for any condition related to a manufacturers defect.We will conclude our defect review with one of the two following results:If the condition is related to a defect, we will accept back the returning merchandise and credit your account. If it is determined as not related to a manufacturers defect, then the item will be returned to you as is.If you choose to return the Keen for this review, below is the shipping address. "update 4 May 2017: Keen has graciously resolved this matter, based solely on my photos and receipt. PLUS they did NOT require me to pay any postage nor mail the defected boots to them. Absolutely love these boots! I did a lot of research before buying these and I am very satisfied with the mix of functionality and style. They're just as expected - warm, waterproof, comfortable, and easily fits thick socks. The pull tab at the back is extremely helpful for taking off/putting on without untying/retying. Grip could be better, but I have yet to actually wipe out on ice or snow with these, so it does the job. My best friend bought a pair because I raved about these so much!

I love these boots! As a young mom in Utah who spends a lot of time outside in all weather, these boots are perfect for late fall and winter. I am very conflicted with this boot. They are SO cute. Exactly what I wanted in terms of style and material and i've been searching for red snow boots for so long. These are the perfect deep red (even on the bottom) and they aren't a cheap rubbery material, they have a nice leather/canvas blend feel. Doesn't look too much like a rainboot. I am a size 6, and I ordered that. I expected them to be a little wide, because keens usually run a tad wide, but in these I feel like my feet are REALLY wiggling around. My goal was to get boots i could wear inside and outside at work, as i am a teacher and am running in and out all day, but I'm not sure if i'd be comfortable in them inside for hours. They fit as expected in terms of length, but I might not be able to get past the width. Its better with SUPER thick socks, but my feet will get too hot inside. They aren't as comfortable as other reviewers seem to think, and they squeak quite a bit when I walk. I wish they had a zipper (but i do enjoy the tab in the back) and i wish the soft furry material continued all the way down to the foot part of the boot (it only lines the leg/ankle part of the boot, which means less cushion/comfort). All that aside, I might still keep them because they are the red boots of my dreams... I'll just have to buy a lot of soft thick socks.

The fur lining doesn't go all the way down into the foot of the boot, but there is a soft little pad at the bottom. You could add another liner if you wanted. I am typically a size 6-6.5 and I originally ordered a 7 in order to leave a little bit of room in the toes. The shoes were slightly small with 2 layers of socks (one regular pair and one thicker wool pair) so I exchanged them for a 7.5. They fit well now with my two pairs of socks. Not as much room as I would have expected, but they're still comfortable and warm so far. The shoes are slightly big with regular socks on but the laces keep the boots from sliding around on my foot. They fit snugly (but not too snugly) with my wool socks. They are warm and extremely comfortable. They're not bulky like other winter boots and they're pretty stylish as well!
I would definitely recommend getting between a half size and full size up because the extra room in the toes leaves some room for air that warms your feet up. If you're planning on wearing thick socks or 2 pairs of socks, definitely go with a full size up, I would almost recommend a size and a half up!
I am currently in the midst of another Chicago winter, so I'll see how they hold up this year!

Ich habe das erste mal Keen als Trekking Schuh gekauft und war von der Passform sehr überzeugt da ich einen sehr breiten Fuß habe haben sie trotzdem gut gepasst. Deshalb habe ich mich für diesen Schuh entschieden aber als er ankam war er wesentlich zu eng. Ich trage 39 und habe ihn mir noch einmal in der 40 bestellt dieser passt in ein super und drückte auch nicht und sie halten wirklich super warm und dicht.
