Simple & sort of vulnerable

This mirror fit into my bars easily. The mirror has a slight buble giving it a wider field of view. The body of the structure is metal. The mirror and its pivot ball are plastic. I foresee this mirror getting broken so I purchased two of them. The price was acceptable to me. The mirror comes with a bushing for larger diameter bars, but mine did not require it. I used compressed air to remove my handle grip with ease. I test fit the mirror. When I knew it would fit, I cut the end of my handle grip to expose the inner diameter of the handle bar. I installed the grip and then installed the mirror. Adjusting the mirror is easy with an allen wrench. To get the best range takes some fiddling. If you ride with a saddle tool bag, make sure you carry the right allen wrench. I think that this bar end mirror will get bumped a lot and need readjusting, requiring the tool. Overall, I think this has increased my safety, when cycling on roads.

When bike falls down on road the mirror comes out of the frame which is great and doesn't break. The plastic frame does break at the same weak point each time. i wish it could come with a better plastic quality around the mirror.
