An Easy Way to Go Natural

Our natural deodorants are powered by plant-derived ingredients and designed for everyday life. Whether it’s a lazy Sunday or an active weekday, you can stay confident with a natural deodorant that really works!

Some folks experience a brief transition period when switching from a commercial deodorant to a natural deodorant. This may cause a temporary increase in sweat, body odor, or sensitivity. Be patient, this transition is usually only a few days to a week and the payoff is well worth it.

How to Apply

We know it’s tempting, but resist the urge to over apply; a little goes a long way with our natural deodorants and 1-2 light swipes is really all you need. Over application could cause irritation due to the baking soda in our formula. If this happens, we recommend reducing your usage amount or discontinuing use. Some folks may simply be sensitive to one or more of the ingredients in our natural deodorant and unable to use any amount.

Directions for Use: Please take extra care when using our natural deodorants. Vigorously clean areas prior to applying this deodorant. Apply gently to dry, clean areas with 1-2 passes. Do not apply with excessive pressure. Spot test prior to use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

This deo has an ideal thickness to be used as a deodorant. It isn't too soft an it isn't hard

My skin didn't give any reactions to it. It doesn't give any feeling after I apply it. Nothing slippery or dry. It is like it isn't there.

It does the job to get rid of the bad smell all day. I didn't take the risk of not applying it the second day.

It lasts for a long time. It doesn't spread all over its container and bother me. The mechanism also works fine and easy to use it.

Didn't take it on a plane, I don't know its airport security performance.

I used this one and the original one so far. Both smell I didn't like by any means. I gave this one away and using the original one. I hope I can find one with a fresh and soapy smell. The original has a smell like a pine resin. This one smells more acidic. Has nothing to do with aloe vera. But they both do the job so I surely will keep using this brand.

Please don't risk your life by using antiperspirant chemicals and support these guys. Also someone with experience in gathering a good smelling mix, please give a hand to these guys, they are pretty much better than good with the rest of the objectives they need to achieve.

However, I ended up in the doctors office, with a scalpel to the armpit, to drain the pus out of the infection that came from using this product. I had a huge painful lump about half the size of a golf ball. After a course of antibiotics I was well though i now have a scar in my armpit from the surgical procedure.

I initially didn’t connect it to the deodorant- I went a few months of using it again and all of a sudden I started getting these painful red infection lines and swollen bumps again. This time I spread triple antibiotic cream on my armpits, and after about 5 days of application everything went away. After a few months this whole process got repeated again. So after 3 infections now, a $400 doctor bill, and a permanent scar, I’m finally pulling the plug on this deodorant. I don’t know why it took me so long to connect the dots.

Please learn from my experience and avoid!

Not all natural deos works for me, but this one does. I've switched to using aluminum free, natural deodorant years ago but just recently found Sam's. Prior to this I've used Tom's (which doesn't work for me), Herban Cowboy (no longer works for me ever since they removed silver from their ingredients), Thai crystal (works ok), Crystal essence (also just ok), Primal pit (no idea why but the jacked up jasmine makes me smell horrible, I've had better luck with unscented) and plenty of other brands I've picked up at Whole Foods and other organic grocery markets throughout the years. I love Burt's Bees deodorant spray but they have since discontinued it and I began to scramble to find a replacement. I need to switch deodorants every week or so because my armpits tend to get used to the deodorant. I know it's weird but if I keep using one deodorant exclusively I find that it is less effective.

This deodorant does contains baking soda. It works wonders, but for some it may cause underarm redness/ rash so I'd suggest testing out a little bit first before applying it to both armpits. I know some people don't like the shape of the deodorant but I actually really like it and it prevents the deodorant from getting gunky around the edges.

So far I have tried sandalwood, tobacco, and ravine. All great scents that aren’t overwhelming. I love this deodorant but it STAINS like crazy. Yellow pit stains on all my white shirts and also my light grey ones. By the time I noticed I had already thrown the shirts in the dryer and the stains will not come out once they’ve been exposed to heat. On another hot day I sweated with this deo on and it got on my scrub top. It left an oily residue that I have tried to get out but to no avail. Fair warning this deodorant works but the stains have ruined plenty of shirts so I only use it when I’m wearing black.

I like the natural, but not overwhelming scent. I wish they would bring back the Leather scent though. I have been using Sam's for about 2 years now. No staining in my shirts, no BO, and I feel like my skin is healthier.

Excellent! Great scent, long lasting, ingredients safe enough to eat. 4th time ordering and always more than satisfied. I’ve tried Tom’s, Lafe’s, the Crystal sticks, and Sam’s is the best. One or two swipes is all you need. Oak Moss and Sandlewood are my favorite scents. Tobacco is nice too (smells like, sweet, rich pipe tobacco). Haven’t tried other scents but will after I run out (a stick lasts me at least 6 months, so it will be awhile). My rule is that anything I put on my skin for hours at a time has to be safe enough I could eat it. This fits the bill
