It does take some vigorous mixing to get the little lumps out. I put my liquid into my shaker, add the powder & stir it up, then let it sit for a few minutes before shaking the bejeebers out of it. A stick or regular blender helps. Same good flavor & really fills me up. I’m sold.
I attempted to add a single scoop to a large cup of hot coffee (protein creamer concept) and that created kind of a white scrambled eggs raft on top of the coffee. Second attempt, gently sprinkling the powder while stirring, was more effective but took a few minutes to accomplish and had negligible flavor.
I am estimating about 16 oz of liquid per scoop if you want to be able to mix manually and not have lumps. It looks like a power mixer will have to be my next purchase and only then will be able to tell if I can get enough powder in a lower volume of water to actually describe the taste.
