Only started buying ninjago because of the titan tumbler, but this mech was just irresistible. it has great articulation and movement.
the legs can be posed in a variety of ways and the mech will still stand. It's loaded with weapons, and the baddies included don't suck at all.
pros: cool looking mech with a variety of features
mech is posable
good mix of bad guys and minifigs add to the value
cons: none, unless the price has jumped since i got it for $30.
final - get this set !! kids will love its play-ability and features ( like the skateboard ). the net on the left arm didnt sit well with me so I swapped it out for a MOC gatling gun..
I was into Legos as a kid in the 80s, and I built lots of ships, robots, and transformers. These pieces they make now are so fantastic - ideally suited to the job with a great deal of style and potential. The Lego company has have never let me down, and all these years later are better than ever.
The only thing that bothered me on the Salvage Mech are the arms. There are black sloped pieces on the armpit area of the arm that, as built, prevent the arms from going down all the way and restrict the movement. I turned them around so they sloped toward the armpit and was much happier with the look and function of it.
The skeletons are kind of pointless in my opinion.
