This fire pit was worth the money to me. It is exactly what I was looking for. It comes with black glass, but I also purchased some red glass to mix with it.
It was fairly easy to assemble, it was packed very well. The hardest part was getting the screws started. It took me about an hour by myself. The instruction book was a large size, like reading a newspaper. Like any instruction manual, the instructions could be a little clearer, but still I was able to get it together myself with just a screwdriver. They did provide a couple extra screws. I recommend putting it together on a table, rather than the ground, as I found my back straining a little bit.
The overall effect is beautiful, I love the adjustable flame, it’s perfect for enjoying fall on my deck.
The cons: the igniter is temperamental, it only works sometimes, so have a lighter handy. The main con however, is the tub that the glass and burner sits in. It comes painted, so it puts off toxic smelling fumes as the paint heats up. This tub should not have paint on it! Just make sure you aren’t sitting downwind from it. I used it for several hours and the smell was still there. I don’t know how long it will take to burn the paint off, so it is not that environmentally friendly.
Overall, I love this fire pit, it looks great, it’s stylish, good quality materials, and I will enjoy many evenings on my deck with it.

It looks good and it was easy enough to put together

It looks good and it was easy enough to put together... I lit it up right away, and it stayed on for about an hour. Then I tried to turn it back on an hour later to show my dad and the flame wasn't as strong. I will try it again tomorrow-I'm getting a little worried now that I'm reading the reviews about the starter being a problem but I'm hoping it will be fine.

Got it three days ago & already the friends we have had over want to get one of their own. Easy to assemble but you should read all the many directions first. Came with black glass rocks (look like licorice chunks) & we had ordered an extra bag of blue & clear glass chunks to mix it up. Looks GREAT, throws a little heat but mostly just ambiance. Perfect for our teens hanging out back with their friends, no more worries for Mr. Fitz about flaming wood sparks flying around.
As other here have commented, the igniter is a bit (alot) fussy. So we just use the hand-held flame clicker to start it & that takes care of that. Someone else said the enclosed cover is a cheapy, which it is. But you can't have everything for under $200, which is what I paid. I'll buy a better cover for it at some point. I see they are around $25.
Really nice, for low money. I'll update in a few months to see what I think then.
UPDATE - 11/9/17 - So we still LOVE IT! Everyone we've had over has raved about it & two of my friends have purchased one of these for themselves. Doesn't throw a ton of heat, so if you need that, stick to wood. But for us & the Fitzie teens, it's been a great add to our deck to sit around & visit with friends, no fuss, no wood muss. I babied the cheapo cover & it's held out fine. I this week taped the cover seams w/duct tape as the wicked winter winds are starting to blow here in NE & I figured a little extra support wouldn't hurt as we head into the winter.
A worthwhile buy.

Highly recommend. I am a small woman so this isn't too heavy or difficult to handle for me. It would be faster to put together with two people however just because of the awkward angles.
Update after weekend: absolutely love this thing. It got into 50s here and we kept our feet warm while enjoying the beautiful flame. I will update again after some time to see how this holds up to Florida weather.
Update after more use: Still love it, have it put away for spring/summer but I wanted to mention that it goes through gas relatively fast so I would have back up propane ready. I will update when we pull it back out for fall/winter and see how it works after being put away for months.

I just got this today so I will update this review if things change. I was able to put it together myself within an hour. Went together easily and lit up right away. It's day time so I will see how it warms us up tonight. I live in central Florida and it's Feb so the nights can get into the 50's. It looks fabulous.
