At first I thought it would be annoying, as I didn't want the bell to ring all day as we went in and out, but now I just plug the indoor piece in at night, or anytime there is reason I want to be alerted and it is perfect. It doesn't alarm me but just gives me notice. Affordable, simple, and effective.

This is positively my worst purchase on Amazon ever! And I'm always at least satisfied if not pleasantly surprised... The special offer from the seller was the doorbell button that should've come with the lousy overpriced system anyway. And you're expected to wait about 8 weeks for it. You're also given the choice of a "free battery" or ( get this) a piece of 2 sided tape to mount the button! HOWEVER, the batteries are out of stock and subsequently the offer is unavailable and literally has a line drawn through it- you get the tape...YAY! Anyway, here's what I did get: A tiny instruction manual written in broken English and in the wrong order of steps. A small plug in receiver with 52 mostly single chime or "ding dong" tones, a few Christmas songs and assorted southern style children's folk songs-just ridiculous nonsense that sound like late 90's Nokia ring tones. The strobe barely lights and only for a spilt second at the change of a music note. (so, it's more effective dancing to the songs) One of the sensors communicates with the receiver, but doesn't detect movement at all so I trashed it. Furthermore, with it's 4 volume settings, the loudest is what I would expect to be the lowest-which is like a mouse fart. Can't wait to get my doorbell button that doesn't work! I should've returned this, but it was for my shop, and my helpers had already taken the box and faulty motion detector to the dumpster.

I called their customer support team and I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I would recommend looking for a better product then this.

Before i get into the review i wanted to point out that i owned this same product with only 1 sensor, however this is a bit different than the one I bought because of different bells and sounds. This sensor is great, i use it in the store. However, this one specifically isn't as loud as the older models they had. Due to this, i used my other receiver that I bought before this instead of this one. The pairing is a pain and switching sounds is also a pain, if i can change anything about this product it would be to make sound louder like the company used to make and make pairing with other sensors and changing the tones easier as its a long and timely process (i can't emphasize timely enough, you literally have to execute the time perfectly to change the ring). The instructions could also be clearer.

After received the package, I put one sensor unit with batteries to test first, then tried USB power. It work ok. After 1 month when I take 2nd unit to deploy and use USB power, that unit ***FAILED***. Only batteries can be used. I can't return this defective (2nd) unit and am stuck with it. Quality is not up to standard, so buyer be aware.
