Product Description

Atlanta Sleekform Best Ergonomic Adjustable Kneeling Chair height seat angle rolling thick cushions

Perks of The Atlanta

Open Hip Angle

Once you take a seat in The Atlanta you will likely notice an immediate difference in how your body feels.

When you place your weight onto your sit bones the chair gently tilts your pelvis forward encouraging a natural upright posture. This posture engages your core muscles eliminating pressure on your spinal discs, back and shoulders. The best part about a kneeling chair is if you find yourself craving a new position, just move your weight onto your shins to change it up, take one or both knees out, or even sit on it backwards- there are no rules! Whichever way you feel the most comfortable is best… pretty radical, we know…

What About My Knees?

Don't be fooled by the term "kneeling chair". When sitting in the Alpharetta the majority of your weight remains in your buttocks and any weight in your legs is placed on your shins. This allows you to be able to sit in this position all day long without any pain or discomfort in your knees.

Key Features of The Atlanta

  • Added seat adjustability (97°-127°)
  • More height adjustment ability (21”-28”)
  • Open hip angle for effortless upright posture
  • Weight capacity of up to 220 lbs
  • Steel frame making it lightweight, strong and long lasting.
  • 4 inch thick cushions for added comfort
  • Faux leather, black cushion covers, easy to keep clean and durable
  • Natural, effortless S curve for your back to help with pain

Our wheels were designed to be safe for any floor type, but if you find they aren't working for your specific needs you can always change them out. They are universal castors with a 49mm bearing.

The Atlanta was designed to work with a standard 29" inch high desk.

The Atlanta works for anyone from 5'1" to 6'6" and can hold up to 220 lbs.

Poorly designed with cheap materials subject to self-destruction in a short period of time (15 months).
3 Stars
Poorly designed with cheap materials subject to self-destruction in a short period of time (15 months).
After 15 months of use the design defects are manifesting themselves. The wheel locks have knobs attached to the levers, one of which has snapped off, rendering the wheel permanently locked (won't roll). The wheels snap into a plastic insert in the end of the metal frame and the plastic insert cracked, so the wheel is canted instead of true so that the wheel is no longer a castering/pivoting wheel and it ends up against the frame, perpendicular to the direction you want to go thus acting as a brake. Contacted their customer support but they are a bunch of inept adolescents. Robin writes: "I can give you the dimensions for the parts you need to replace so you can hopefully find them at your local hardware store. We've had some customers tell us that the stems of the castors have been the problem- if that's the case for you anytime of castor with an 8.25cm stem on it will fit." That's not the problem I reported. Their website claims "What type of wheels are on your chairs? ...It depends on the model you have! Our Atlanta, Milan and Tokyo have rolling casters that you would find on most typical office chairs, with breaks on the back two wheels. Our LA and San Diego models come with rollerblade style wheels. The rollerblade wheels don’t have breaks, but roll effortlessly over any floor type, including carpet." Maybe they would consider learning the correct spelling of the word brakes!Let me tell you that rolling this chair over any floor is *NOT* effortless when the poorly designed cheap plastic caster wheel supports crack. Its as if the "brakes" are always on!A reply from customer service:Hi Marc,My name is Elizabeth and I am helping Robin out with getting you hooked up with new casters or trying to help get this fixed up for you.The way I understand it the plastic tube is broken inside the casters right? I am trying to envision the piece that is broken but am having a hard time.Which kneeling chair did you purchase? We have a number of models and I want to be sure I get you the right information. Please let me know, happy to keep helping!I will be on the lookout for your reply!****************To which I promptly replied but received no response even after 3 weeks.Update 10/23/2018: I have to add one start due to the design change with the new ball bearing caster wheels. Apparently Sleekform *does* listen to customer input. Looking forward to receiving my new ball bearing caster wheels.
