Was able to mount it vertically.
Normal magnets don't work, I had to buy special rare earth magnets which hold fine, not the best.
Only looks good with black markers.
Installation was tricky and it isn't magnetic enough for normal magnets

Measuring instructions were confusing and we were off about a half-inch which made a huge difference with screwing on the board to the mount.Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2020

If you have just a little DIYer skills, you can install this board rather easily. I installed this by myself - I am a average plus size man. The board weighs about 40 pounds. I used the anchors. If you are fortunate enough to be drilling into a stud, then don't use the anchor - just the screw. The border screw attachments adjust about 1.25 inches vertically, so it isn't absolutely necessary that you get your holes horizontally level. Once the board is up, it easily slides left and right so you can center it. I like the white color - especially on a darker colored wall. White also keeps the room "large." The black boards tend to make a room feel smaller (just like dark paint does). But, in terms of function, the black colored boards show off neon colored markers better. I use these markers [[ASIN:B0112OP7BY Window Markers - 15mm Jumbo - 3 in 1 Nib with 28g Ink - Pack of 8 neon chalk pens - Loved by Teachers, Kids, Artists, Businesses. Use on Chalkboard, Whiteboard, Blackboard Glass, Bistro]] as the reservoirs are large plus they have 3-in-1 tips. Overall I am quite pleased with this product.
