How Many Pocket Diapers Come In a Pack?

Our 7 pack of pocket diapers include 7 Pocket Diapers, 7 Bamboo Inserts, and 1 Reusable Wet Bag

How Do I Prep Pocket Diapers?

Cloth diaper prep is an initial step that involves running your diapers & inserts through 3- 4 regular wash cycles. This is to help prep your diapers & rinse away any natural oils found on fabrics, opening up fibres to ensure adequate absorbency.

How Many Pocket Diapers Do I Need?

For newborns, we recommend a stash of 24-36 cloth diapers. Each diaper will come with its own Bamboo insert. For toddlers, we would recommend a stash of 14 to 24 cloth diapers, again with an extra pack or two of bamboo inserts.

What insert size should I use?

inserts & Prefold size should measure at 13” by 5” in width, and can be used in both our baby pocket and cover diapers. These are great for everyday use. Inserts can be used individually, or can be doubled up for heavy wetter’s or for overnight use.

What types of inserts can I use?

Make sure the insert/pre-fold size measures at 13” by 5” to best fit the pocket diapers. Noras sells Bamboo Inserts, Bamboo Pre-folds, Charcoal Bamboo Inserts, and Hemp Pre-folds all measuring at 13” by 5”.

Parents Considering Cloth Diapering and NN’s - Please Read!
First of all, this is a totally honest, unaffiliated and unsponsored review of cloth diapering AND NN’s cloth diapers.I’m a mom to three boys and WISH I had started cloth diapering with my first. Alas, we JUST had our third almost two months ago and cloth diapering has been a GAME CHANGER for us.My first two never had a single diaper rash, but the third started reacting to anything we put on him - including HelloBellos and Pampers. And even with premium brands and insanely frequent changes, we were getting leaks and blowouts *at least* once a day. Since we started cloth diapering, he’s not had a single reaction or rash. I started about a week ago and, after figuring out you have to make sure the gussets are in the leg creases (first day bloopers), I had my first leak today and, again - it was because I was delirious and didn’t make sure the gussets were properly placed. It’s not hard, I just have two other kids that are in homeschool, we’re in the middle of DIY home renovations ahead of putting our house on the market and my husband has been totally swamped with work (so basically flying solo, so basically just run a little ragged lol!)If that hasn’t sold you on cloth diapers yet - consider this. The cost of building a basic stash (24-36 diapers, so say 4 sets of NN diapers) plus supplies (hand-held bidet, spraying shield and separate small laundry basket, plus an extra set of inserts to double up with at night) is a little over $300. The cost of using premium diapers over the course of an estimated 6-8k diaper changes (yes, that many until they’re potty trained) is between $4,500 and $6,000. Unless you’re cool with throwing money away on a sub-par product, cloth diapering is an absolute win.For absolutely new parents, I’d honestly still recommend keeping a few disposables around just until you feel more comfortable in your role as a parent and don’t have to figure out a wash routine on top of everything else. But once you’ve kind of got your baby figured out and your body doesn’t feel like an absolute mess, absolutely go for cloth diapering.Nora’s are my absolute favorite of the brands I’ve tried so far. They are the most boy-friendly and chic when it comes to colors and patterns of those on the market right now and their specific cut/design pattern is just perfect. I won’t be ordering anything else for our little guy from here on out. Truly. I can’t believe I’ve become that mom that literally RAVES about a diaper brand, but here I am. Here you are, reading this. (Oh, how children change us.)So you need about 24-36 diapers to keep you from having to wash frequently. As stated previously, I’d also recommend a hand-held bidet and shield to rinse poop off in the toilet with and keep the mess from spraying all over as well as an extra set of inserts to double up with at night. There are a lot of good graphics debunking what kind of inserts work best for what (absorbency vs speed of absorbency) - just google “cloth diaper insert absorbency chart.” Mine have done great at night with two bamboos, but you might want to go rogue mad scientist and try another material.Nora’s Nursery’s free e-book is gold and there is a LOT of amazing information on Fluff Love University, too. When it comes to figuring out a rinse/wash/dry routine, take notes in your phone and try it out and see how it works for you. If you run into any problems, google and adjust accordingly. I figured my wash routine out in about two days of trial and error [hard water, water volume and load size, along with agitation cycle, are all factors but it’s not at all hard to determine and adjust those once you know that they’re determining factors (I did not, thus the trouble shooting)]A separate side-note on pants: cloth diapering does add bulk and some brands of pants will not fit well and may look absolutely ridiculous. One way to mitigate this is to go up a size in pants, but there are brands that work really well with CDs. Gerber Organics and Old Navy have been great so far and supposedly Gap and Garanimals are other good ones, too. I’ve attached a picture of our son in a NN’s diaper with Old Navy leggings in his size for reference. It sounds like a LOT at first, I know. That’s what kept me from trying them with our first two and (so far) one of my biggest parenting regrets. Don’t be me two more kids later and an extra $12k in the hole before you give it a shot! Their little bums and college funds will thank you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best cloth diapers
Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2022
I just started cloth diapering and I started out with alvababy which isn’t a bad diaper but they are very stiff even after washing multiple times and we did have some leak issues during the night which is annoying so I switched over to this brand after reading the reviews and by far a much better and easier experience they are almost double the price of alvababy but in my opinion 100% worth the extra cost. These diapers are much softer and more comfortable for my little girl to wear not as stiff as the other brands. They so far have held up very well I have not had any leakage issues and they seem very well made I definitely feel like they will hold up for the next couple years. I looked at photos on here of how other women buttoned the diapers and I found a perfect fit for my baby I added a photo of the button position that works best for us she is two months old and 12 pounds right now and you cannot tell she is wearing a cloth diaper it is not bulky at all if buttoned correctly. If you are 100% sure you want to cloth diaper then this is the brand you want it has made cloth diapering a breeze I wish I knew how easy this could be with my first two and I would have done it with them also. I just don’t have enough good things to say about these diapers they are super cute and very comfy looking. I wash them with baking soda and vinegar because it says not to use harsh chemicals on them to help them last longer and it works great! I also love the inserts they come with they are very absorbent and I can just change the insert and reuse the diaper without having to change the entire diaper which is nice so all I have to pack on trips is a few inserts instead of a bunch of diapers.

5.0 out of 5 stars All about these!
Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2018
We received or cloth diapers a couple days ago! They are so cute And soft and work great! My son is 22 months old and these are perfect! Once we've consistently used these for a longer time I will update the review. I love that these inserts are bamboo hybrids!. I have not found any other pocket diaper that comes with bamboo inserts. It is exactly what I was looking for, as I'm not wanting to use microfiber (which is in the majority of other brands). I change my babies bum after every wet (which is really what you should be doing) and I did not have any leaks. Once we had a busy night grocery shopping and whatnot, and he was in it longer than usual. At that point he did leak out a little, but very little! I suggest just an extra insert when leaving the house, and a hemp doubler with it at bed time. It's great so far! I prep washed for 2 washes. I looked closely at the fabric and the sewing work. They've done a great job at putting it together. I did notice that the back is not quite even across (as if the fabric was cut at a diagonal line) but this is not a big deal. One thing that bugs me a little is my son is a front wetter, and the insert slides down and bunches from running around. I'm sure this is just a pocket diaper scenario, and can be adjusted with the right adjusted fit or something. But it would have been a good idea to sew in a small absorbent layer in the front for added security (this added feature, the bamboo inserts, and the price would have definitely set these pocket diapers apart from any other). Some people don't like how tight hole is for the insert. I actually prefer the way it is because I feel it holds everything better. I ring out my sons diapers in the toilet, so I don't mind having to pull the insert out. I also love how most of the diapers are gender neutral! I'm in love with all the gender neutral collections! I will definitely order more. I chose these diapers over all of the other brands out there and I am so glad I did! It's top quality I can afford! If I notice any future issues I'll be sure to update!
