Good things come in small packages
I got this chair for my son. I was amazed how small the package was when it came. It came in a great zipper package to hold it all together. The metal legs were connected to each other with a bunggie cord. This is the best part of the chair. It prevents me from loosing all the parts and pieces. I was able to follow the instructions easily to put the chair together. The instructions say you may need to use some pressure to get the poles in the correct place and that was true Once I put it together once its was easier to put it together the second time. The chair can hold a lot of weight. I put it to a test right away and it held me and I did not feel like I would break it, It is pretty low to the ground wish would be great for the beach and since it is in a small zipper pouch it would be easy to just throw it in my beach bag on the way out the door. I cant wait to use this during the summer.

This chair is near perfection and at 270 lbs, there aren't very many light weight chairs designed to handle my weight. If you have never used this kind of chair before, the back poles flex a bit more than you might expect but the flexing helps the fabric form to your backside.

I have used it as a gaming chair at home, at backyard cookouts with friends, and at a 4 day scout camporee with two of my sons. The chair is extremely comfortable in almost every situation. The only issue I have found is with sitting on sloping surfaces. You must face either uphill or downhill, sitting sideways on a hill causes the back poles to flex in a way that makes the chair extremely uncomfortable. But changing the orientation of the chair is not a deal breaker for me since the weight is extremely minimal.

I'm extremely pleased with this product. The joints and feet are very robust. The fabric is heavy duty and the connections point are reinforced for longevity. I expect to have this chair in my outdoor arsenal for many years to come

I'm going to have to keep fighting my sons for this chair every time I get out of it. I can't wait to get more for my wife and sons.

I bought hoping it would be a less expensive substitute to a similar product from Helinox. I have had my Helinox chair for 4 years with no problems. This one was much harder to put together, and it broke on the second use. The sleeves that the aluminum rods go into are not reinforced enough and are too tight. This broke the plastic caps at the end of the rods, which hold the internal bungees. Amazon accepted the return.

Let's start off by saying this chair looks small and fragile.
I am 6 feet and weigh in excess of 270 pounds.
I am fat enough my butt hurts sitting on the rocky ground. I recently started hiking with a pack on for exercise, and just did a five day hiking camping trip
This chair was heaven to relax in while letting my ankles and feet stop swelling and throbbing..
It held my weight, the sand feet were great in mud or sand.
I am glad I bought it. I am glad it is soo strong.
I will bring it every time.
I was surprised how small it folded up to as well..
Enjoy

Kudos for the shock cord assembly and good sturdy fabric. I however found the chair pretty uncomfortable--it tended to pitch the sitter forward. Also, not for the larger folks among us. Gave it to a kid camper.

Liked the quality, feet, etc... however at the end of the day, it's a very uncomfortable chair for a few reasons. First - it's too narrow at the top and bottom - I'm 5' 10", 180 pounds - and it presses against my hips and shoulders. My petite wife thought that it was uncomfortable as well. This especially after sitting in an REI chair (that's less expensive!) to compare. Second - the chair makes you sit up and lean forward quite a bit - I found myself not being able to relax because I was having to push with my legs to keep myself in the chair. When you sit in the REI chair we had to compare - you sat back further (it was angled back more) - and it was FAR more comfortable to sit in - you could relax. This chair is a definite return which is a bummer, but oh well.

These chairs have been very useful in that they barely take up any room and have been used all over the place! Fishing, the beach, outside functions, scenic lunches, theme parks... My 8 yo can’t really stretch the material to get it on the frame bc it takes some muscle but the tight fit is what makes it feel sturdy and reliable. Was able to hold a person who was just over 200lbs. Unfortunately we lost one of the foot covers at our first outing but it has the second pairs of feet for sand and such so we were able to just use those.
