”canoe looks & moves great and feels really sturdy ... All the materials appear to be good quality and made with high standards, made in US. I will need to see how it holds over time, but considering its portability and convenience (and fun to show off!), I would rate it 5 stars. Good job.” Frank C.

I love my canoe! It is everything you said about it. It is easy to put together and take apart although my time is about double your estimate of 10 minutes up and 5 minutes down but that's because I don't have help. The first thing I did was to fill it full of water and watch it float. It probably wouldn't hold me up if I climbed into it while full but at least I am assured that it won't sink out of sight. It paddles very well and I do mine from the center of the boat with a kayak paddle. I did add red and white paint to the folded up hull edges so that when I want to close it up, all I need to do is keep the 6 paint spots beside one another and it pops into place very nicely. What a clever way to design the craft! I have a low profile folding chair which puts me a couple of inches lower in the boat for added stability. The chair can be strapped down with those on the floor boards. When the off season arrives I'll have no problem storing my canoe in my locker.

No they won't allow returns. I new I was purchasing a novelty item but the reviews where very good on Amazon and also in other online magazines. (good marketing?) so I thought I was at least purchasing a working boat. What I got instead was a huge nightmare. Setting up the and folding up the boat is a chore. I practices several times before going to the park, yet another couple arrived with two kayaks at the same time I did, they unpacked and went kayaking and returned before we even got into the water. Getting the boat into the water was a spectacle. People where came over and asked what we where doing, and why would I trust that thing in the water. Once in the water it road low, and tilted. The seat collapsed. so I was literally sitting on the floor of the canoe. Fixing it in the canoe was not an option. Spending forty minutes setting up a canoe only to find out you did it wrong sucks. The idea that you can set it up wrong is an indication of how hard it is to setup.

I was the only person brave enough to test it. We decided to take it out of the water and fold it up. Think about what would happen when you fold up a wet canoe; you get sopping wet and muddy. The bottom line is that this canoe is not a product of convenience or reliability. If there are any waves where you attempt to use it expect the boat to get swamped.

I wish I had read one real person's experience with this canoe before purchasing. It is a comlete disaster of a product.

We were really hesitant about this purchase as we couldn't seem to find out much about the company. As an older couple (in our late 50's/early 60's) we didn't think we would be able to handle putting a regular canoe up and down off the roof of our jeep or carrying it to the lake. Getting the my Canoe was Hands Down, the absolute best decision we have ever made...The customer service was excellent. Brian answered all my questions quickly and efficiently. The canoe was delivered quickly and he even refunded the shipping charges for the stabilizer package that we bought a few days later. The First time putting it up in our back yard took more like 45 minutes than the quoted 15 but then later that same day at the lake it went up like a breeze. I think the seams/folds just needed to be shaped a couple of times and now up and down is super simple. It works really well on the water too. We bought the stabilizer package for peace of mind but so far have not needed to use it. The beauty of this boat is that we can easily transport it. No need to buy a rack for the top of the car....money saved! We just keep it in the camper or in the back of the car. People who see us
putting it together or packing it up are absolutely fascinated by it. Very Cool Canoe...and 100% happy with our purchase.

Don't buy this canoe! I was immediately drawn to this canoe because I live in an RV and I thought it would be a great way to travel the country and paddle some lakes while camping with my family. We ordered two canoes because we have two adults and two teenagers. As expected, set up takes longer than normal at the start, but gets easier with practice. The instruction booklet is not very easy to follow, particularly when it comes to take down and folding the canoe back up. Despite those minor inconveniences, that is not the reason for the poor review. I gave the canoes one star because we have used the canoes four times and one canoe leaks and the other one had some of the support become unattached needing warranty work after four uses. The return policy is 30 days, which depending on when you receive your canoe, the weather, and when you actually get to paddle, is not a huge window to try them out. When we first put the canoes in the water, we noticed that they are very difficult to paddle. The two seats are almost equidistant in the middle, meaning that control of the canoe is much more difficult compared to a regular canoe, because you are trying to steer the canoe from the middle as opposed to the rear. The design of the canoe is not very aerodynamic, so that if you stop paddling, you have very little momentum to continue gliding in the water.

I'm very disappointed in these canoes, and employ you to consider blow up canoes or regular canoes so you don't waste your money, as I did.

Went solo paddling down the Tennessee river with my dog, and didn't have any problems. Called an Uber to bring me back to my car. Very convenient way to spend the day canoeing down river.

This is exactly as advertised, a folding canoe, and that's it. It performs just like a regular canoe. We've put many kilometers on ours, and banged it up a few times without much severe wear and tear. When we don't use it we tuck it away in a closet until next time.
