My old grinder gave up the ghost after 10 years, so I had to get a new one. I picked this grinder based upon the reviews. I usually make 8 cups of coffee a day, so having a large capacity grinder wasn't an issue. I think this thing could hold another two scoops, but have not tried it as of yet. I ground the beans this morning, and it did the job! No unground beans, and a fine grind. The bonus part was it was so quiet compared to my last grinder! Awesome!
I will follow up this review with what happens when I grind a larger amount of beans, but so far, so good. Likin' it a lot!
09-26-2017 Review follow-up: This grinder is doing a good job grinding; it's quiet and grinds a fine powder for my drip coffee maker. I usually make 8 cups of coffee per day, but if company is here, and I need more coffee, my coffee maker will make up to 12 cups. The grinder is quiet, I think, because it's small. My coffee maker is a twelve cup, so I would have to grind six scoops in two separate sessions. Not a huge deal since I don't make that much coffee everyday. I ground up to five scoops in this grinder once, but I feel I really packed it in, so 4 scoops is really all I would do at the most.

Love this little grinder! Small, but grinds 2-3 handfuls of beans at a time. I hold the grind button until the grinds stop moving, give the grinder a little shake to resettle the contents, and hold the grind button again for about ten seconds. Takes about one minute total. Quick, easy, and efficient! Also, very easy to clean with a dry paper towel.
