Love this little grinder! Small, but grinds 2-3 handfuls of beans at a time. I hold the grind button until the grinds stop moving, give the grinder a little shake to resettle the contents, and hold the grind button again for about ten seconds. Takes about one minute total. Quick, easy, and efficient! Also, very easy to clean with a dry paper towel.

My old grinder gave up the ghost after 10 years, so I had to get a new one. I picked this grinder based upon the reviews. I usually make 8 cups of coffee a day, so having a large capacity grinder wasn't an issue. I think this thing could hold another two scoops, but have not tried it as of yet. I ground the beans this morning, and it did the job! No unground beans, and a fine grind. The bonus part was it was so quiet compared to my last grinder! Awesome!

I will follow up this review with what happens when I grind a larger amount of beans, but so far, so good. Likin' it a lot!

09-26-2017 Review follow-up: This grinder is doing a good job grinding; it's quiet and grinds a fine powder for my drip coffee maker. I usually make 8 cups of coffee per day, but if company is here, and I need more coffee, my coffee maker will make up to 12 cups. The grinder is quiet, I think, because it's small. My coffee maker is a twelve cup, so I would have to grind six scoops in two separate sessions. Not a huge deal since I don't make that much coffee everyday. I ground up to five scoops in this grinder once, but I feel I really packed it in, so 4 scoops is really all I would do at the most.

Biggest problem is you’re actually scooping out grounds next to blades. A better design, which admittedly would have made it more expensive, would involve different compartments. It is designed for safety, which is obvious because the button to start it is on the lid and not the base part with the blades. The grind is not always even, and sometimes I have to shake it before pressing the button again because grounds bunch up in the areas just outside the reach of the blades. Also, when you take the top off, a small amount of grounds will likely fall on your counter, which I just wipe up with a rag. With all these complaints, I still really like the product. I bought it because of tendinitis, and it continues to help me. Lately I have been using it to blend roasted buckwheat kasha, and it may be even better at that than it is with coffee beans.

We have one of these for coffee, but I needed one for non coffee things that I didn't want to taste like coffee. I use it to grind up not sugar (mainly xylitol or erythritol) into powdered not sugar for baking recipes. I have also used it to grind chia seeds to make jam and pudding. I will be using it for spices and other things that I need to be teeny tiny, and none of it will taste like coffee!!! Hint: Use blue painters tape, tear off a 4 inch piece and wrap around the side of the grinder, and use a black sharpie to write on it "NO COFFEE" so you can remember which grinder is for which purpose! I'm glad I did this, cuz hubby was grabbing my sugar grinder to use for HIS coffee!!! PHEW ... that was close!

This item is very small. It has a clear plastic lid that lifts up. Under the lid, which also contains the only control, the on switch, there is a small, stainless steel cup with a small, two winge, blender type blade. You put the stuff you are grinding into the cup, put the lid on, and hold the on switch down.

It ground up the flax seed I bought it for fairly well. You clean the thing by unplugging it, brushing out the cup and wiping the blade and cup. It says you can remove the blade with the special tool but no special tool was provided. It is easy enough to clean in situ though but I believe you should not put any liquid in it.

The whole thing came if what seemed to be a repackaged box, probably, my guess is, a returned item. The box was not taped and the bag it was in was not taped or sealed in any way. There was a black twist ties on the cord.

The instruction booklet you get is minimal to say the least.

What can I say. It works. I guess it will hold up fairly well. I got it for free on card points on my Amazon Chase Visa Card so I won't gripe. I thing my little mini food processor, which is easy to clean and hold a lot more, and my regular, large blender, both Amazon purchases, will probably work just as well if not better.

Would I buy it again. Probably not.

I don't quite know how to say this... I'm in love with this machine. Before, I could build a salad and skillet a breast of chicken while boiling brown rice, but now, at age 62, I am grinding coriander, yellow mustard, cloves, chile pequeno, pulverized cinnamon sticks, flax seed, paddling the device till it drops its' powdered fragrance into the pressure cooker... I feel like finally I have the wife I needed, even if she is me.. I add late the garlic and ginger, jalepeno. And the soups I make! I sit with my soup spoon feeling I am in a relished and meaningful moment.
Truly, spoon pause pause pause - vox rumble - spoon. Oh, life not from a can! Someone loves me, and it is me. Ah, I appreciate this machine.

Perfect. Wanted an easy to use, simple to clean, something to tuck away when not in use, to grind spices and nuts. We're vegan and I gotta get those cashews chopped :) This fit the bill to a "t". Now I don't have to messy up my blender or food processor just to do a cup of nuts.

Works as advertised. Build quality seems mediocre, but so far it is successfully chopping sugar, coffee beans, and cinnamon sticks into my desired size. The finer you chop/grind the more it sticks to the sides and requires a gentle couple of taps on the top to knock it down before opening or to continue grinding. Not bad for the price point, but I haven't had it long enough to judge it's durability.
