Love/Hate relationship with this computer--Now I love it!

First, this is a nice sized laptop, the weight is wonderful. The screen is crisp and clear. There have been no problems using all folding features. What I HATE (as someone else mentioned) is the SHIFT key being in the wrong place. The Page Up and the Shift keys should be switched. I too thought I could overlook it's placement, but all of the years actually typing, I can't and therefore, unfortunately, almost leaves me hating this laptop.
*****UPDATE****
With the tip from the Lenovo Representative about downloading KeyTweak to switch the Shift key with the page up key was wonderful!! It totally took care of the problem. Now I can give this computer a 5 star review.

Works perfectly. Takes up to 24 hours (depending on your internet speeds) to get all Microsoft updates installed. Don't rush this part, plug it in, set sleep setting so it will not turn off, and let it do it's thing. Unfortunately, this is the way it is with all new computers running Windows. The updates take a long time, especially the first ones. If you set it up correctly, it will start up in 8 seconds, runs programs very quickly and easily, runs videos and Netflix, etc. Sound is good. A beautiful computer and screen. Only comment is I would like to see one more USB port.

I purchased this laptop January of 2018, hoping I would be able to get a good use out of it for the next four years or so for school. Last week (May) it completely stopped working. The on button will come on but the screen will not. I've had this laptop all of four months before it craps out on me. I was originally going to get it repaired, but based on how much that will cost, I'm not sure it will even be worth it (considering it might happen again. I went to Lenovo's website and typed in the computer's serial number to get information on the warranty only to be told that the warranty had expired as it had began in November of 2017. I bought it brand new and received it in January. Not impressed and would not recommend this to anyone in case they are faced with the same issues as me.

Computer was recommended by one of the IT guys where I work. Bought this computer to travel with as it is light and SSD is more dependable. It is light weight, quick for it's size and very responsive. If you do a great of computing that requires hard drive you may want to get a larger hard drive. I used up 1/2 the 128 mb just downloading Windows, security, and essentials. I always use an external hard drive for files when traveling or remote in to main computer - so this solves the problem. I would definitely buy this again!

Update 1 yr later - Dropping from 5 stars to 3 for the following reason:
-WiFi adapter intermittently stopped recognizing any WiFi networks about 3 months ago and has gotten to the point that it no longer recognizes any networks.
-Mouse touch pad stopped working
-Touch screen doesn't work 60% of the time.
I have 2 days left on my warranty, so off to Lenovo repair it went. I will update my review based on their response and resolution.

Bought for my 11 year old kid and he loves it. Can't believe how small, light and thin it is with such a great picture. Works like a champ.

Gave this as a gift to my spouse after her laptop died. She likes it. It is light weight, boots up quickly, good touch screen, easy to use touchpad, looks good and feels sturdy. It does well for web browsing, email, and her favorite - downloading books from the library and loading them onto one of her readers.

I'm a tad more critical and reduced one star because there is no Ethernet port. Maybe I noticed that when I reviewed the specs prior to buying but it wasn't until I had a slow wifi connection and a large download that I realized how important that port was. I see there is a USB Ethernet dongle on Amazon, I might buy one. I tried a speed test a couple of times with disappointing results. Download is a pathetic 7Mbps, Upload 5Mbps when only 12 inches from router. Wired speeds are over 25Mbps Up and Down. Still, 7M is okay for web research and not too shabby for downloading books and apps, just not as fast I think it should be.

The processor is not the fastest but adequate and the 4Gb of installed memory is a good pairing. The SSD drive is nice and responsive. I like how quickly the system boots up. Overall I'd say we are going to be happy with this unit. We have a trip coming up and are looking forward to having a small lightweight Windows based computer to keep in touch.

Unreliable Wifi

Persistent issues with wifi adapter, pretty well documented on Lenovo/Microsoft support forums but the only "Solutions" they offer are the usual 'update your drivers, reinstall the device, run the network troubleshooter' crap that doesn't work in this case. It's great to have a lightweight laptop for basic day-to-day tasks that don't need much power, but that's completely undermined when you need to reboot to get the network connection to work twice a day. Look elsewhere for a more reliable laptop.
