    Too dim with dingy colors.
Pros:~ Price is about right. If you don't care much about even brightness or color quality, this is the 4K for you.~ It's 4K.~ This is not a specific monitor issue, but even at 4K a 27" display looks a little grainy through Windows 10. The view-able screen is 25.5 x 13.25, so at 3840 x 2160 the DPI is only 163. That is the equivalent of a 1980's Dot Matrix printer, it's ok at best. This is a plus for a cheap 4K monitor, since it's the best you are going to do given today's backwards technology.Cons:~Not the monitors fault, but somehthing you should consider before spending ANY money on a 4K monitor is that Windows 10 does NOT support 4K. I attached a screen shot of what I mean (using the Windows 10 native screen rendering engine). Simply put, there is no support whatsoever for 4K monitors, virtually every app is broken in some way, as Windows 10 still doesn't have proper screen rendering. It's almost bad enough to give up on the whole 4K idea until Windows 2030 is released under all-new management.~ Also not the monitors fault: Within applications (e.g. the tool bars and fonts on a page or in a cell) Windows 10's screen rendering looks absolutely HORRIBLE in 4K. The desktop is rendered in 4K just fine, but applications are annoyingly blurry. This is a known issue with more than one monitor when the monitors do not match resolutions. Since 4K vs 1080P represents a BIG difference, it truly showcases how awful Windows 10 screen rendering really is. There is a third party patch called "Windows 10 DPI fix" that degrades the OS font rendering engine back to Windows 8. Thank God, because it saves the MS Office experience from unusable to full 4K resolution. IT makes the previous issue worse, though. It seems MS broke the rendering engine to try to fix the last one. Woeful. On to the monitor's major issues:~ Viewing angle is really poor, half the screen real estate is dark no matter how you move your head around. It's like wearing a splunking headlight on your forehead. I think this would be hard to deal with even without having experienced an real IPS screen.~ Whites are dingy compared to an 99% sRGB display. My estimate is this monitor has less than 50% of the already-limited sRGB color palette. No amount of fiddling with the settings made whites white, though upping the brightness and contrast to just beyond optimum helps as long as you move your head to view the pixels straight-on. White quality is about 5 out of 10, which also affects all colors.~ Color is ugly. Maybe even fugly. Fiddling with my laptop's GTX 1050 setting helps, but the color never looks good. The screen is just too low end to be saved.~ Max brightness is dim. It is about right for a dark room, but it is too dim for daytime viewing. This monitor does make fonts sharper. Don't expect much more than that. Not recommended for anyone with high standards.

First one had roughly 20 dead pixels, replacement was even worse with a large cluster of dead pixels together and very noticeable. Make sure you run a dead pixel test to really notice. I wouldn't recommend. Asking for refund as I really dont want to have to keep shipping it back!

On another note, with both monitors I received, the screws for the neck to attach to the monitor would not fit properly leaving the monitor a little wobbly and the screw driver provided would just strip the screws.

Will spend a bit more and get a better quality brand. I have an older Sceptre 24" that was fine so was hoping for the same with this one.
