My prior cover was a rather cheaply made one that ironically I paid more for a couple years ago at a local store than I just paid for this one. It was a lot thinner than this cover and faded to pale grey and recently had started tearing through.
Fall here in the Seattle area means lots of rain so I knew I had to get a new cover quick to protect my grill. Picked this one as it had really good reviews plus I liked the fact it was Velcro instead of a string to tighten at the bottom. In fall we also tend to get windstorms and my prior had to be held down with bricks to keep it on.
I was impressed the moment I opened it as it is MUCH thicker than the cover I had before. It's also waterproof fabric that I'm sure the rain will just roll off of. It fit my grill perfectly and looks great. The Velcro straps at the bottom are PERFECT for cinching the cover close to the grill so it won't blow up or off the grill.
My only negative - and not enough to remove a star from my rating - is that the one side has a HUGE white logo on it towards the top like you can see in the listing pictures. I turned the cover around because I don't want my covered grill a focal point in my yard and that logo is just WAY too large and attention getting. I understand you want people to know the brand but it should be printed in a subtle dark gray that can easily be seen when close to the grill or as a tag on the cover not such a HUGE screaming logo that can be seen all the way across your yard! At least the cover can be put on either way so it's facing the fence.
All in all very happy I chose this grill cover. Great price, great quality and I feel confident my grill is protected!
