A perfect solution
I know this tray was made for use in a bathtub, but I'm planning on undergoing shoulder surgery in the near future after having surgery on my other shoulder a couple of years ago. I remember how very difficult it was to try to reach for anything during recovery and in the months afterward. This tray looks like a perfect solution. It fits nicely over the arms of the chair I sit in so everything I need can be directly in front of me instead of to the side of me (see photos) so I don't have as hard a time reaching it. Even though I don't plan on drinking wine, I can put any liquid I choose in a wine glass so it will fit in the wine glass holder to hold my drink securely. It also has a spot for my cell phone, an eReader, and anything else I decide is important at the time. Each of the arms has a rubber grip on the bottom of it which prevents the entire tray from moving easily. It's very sturdy, is made of beautiful bamboo, has a nice finish and is a great size. It's a perfect solution for me... not only functional but nice to look at too!

I couldn’t be happier with this product! As you can see I have a large spa tub, but it extends to fit perfectly. The stand has an adjustable wooden “foot” to hold items upright and the rubber grips hold it sturdily in place on the edges of the tub. My cat already has used it as his personal bridge and it didn’t even shake or bow at all. The only slight problem is that the stand alone will not hold book pages open, but I used a cheap elastic headband and it works perfectly! You could also use any bookmark designed to hold your pages open. Great value for the price!
