It is great for the price. However, don’t assume that you’re gonna see Bacteria without a dye and a specific bacterial slide. This is because the bacteria are too transparent to be viewed by this scope if you’re just looking at lake sample. The Quality is good, and the microscope is well build. Hinges feel good. The height might be too low, so I’d recommend using it on a high table. It’s weighty enough(like 2 kilos). It functions well.
